Re: Republicans Shutdown US Government Over Healthcare

Only 4 tril of the 12(Or is it 14 now?)tril debt was caused by the the Iraq/Afghan war. The housing market bubble is what caused the recession. Blame Clinton's crappy policies/actions. Obama sucks because of the drone strikes, Debatebly obamacare but that's dependent on your personal beliefs, the NS...

Re: Are Viruses Living Things?

Science tends to change consistently. Right now, we might technically not consider it a living organism, however, in the future, we may very well consider it due to some new-found knowledge.

If that's true then if someone where to somehow get into space and murder someone there...who would try them for murder?

Re: Who Controls the Internet?

Technically no one entity governs it. If the crime is committed in a certain country, then they're tried in that country. Which is why Julian Assange is still kicking and a senator in Australia last I checked.

Re: Next President of the United States?

They're supposed to spend teh majority of the budget that they can afford. America, and almost all the world has borrowed money to pay everything they want for the longest time now. Especially in today's current economy, you're crazy if you think the deficit can be broken in a year, considering mod...

Re: Next President of the United States?

They're supposed to spend teh majority of the budget that they can afford. Seeing as how it creates a deficit, I don't think you can accurately say that we can afford it all. It was passed into a law solely due to the fact that the liberals had Congress and the presidency at the time. That's about it.

Re: Next President of the United States?

Defense is 19% of the budget. Social security is 22%, medicade is 6% and medicare is 16%. So you're saying we should allocate even more to things that do the SAME THING?

Re: Next President of the United States?

57% of America doesn't want it, and we cannot afford it right now. What the republicans did was an extreme, but it was based on what they thought was right, while Obama care is based purely on what Obama wants to do. (Also, approval ratings in the Republicans states actually haven't changed much, if...
