Not trying to get off topic, but most Gothic or emotional distressed people I know, or have heard of are just people who whine over the stupidest things in life. Some are family problems that everyone deals with(like great grandparents or grand parents dying) or just some small social problems like someone not liking them enough where the point that said person will insult them for some reason.

They whine and complain over the stupidest things I could ever hear of. And when I bring up people who go through much worse, they'll say stop bringing in Africa, and I'll say, I was actually talking about kids in the class but okay, and then he/she will just flip a shit.

Most Gothic or emotional distressed people I have met or heard, like I said before, are like this, and I've meet quite a lot. I know there are people who are really Gothic, or really emotionally distressed that actually have something good enough to be sad about, to be depressed, and to be confused on life about.

But my experiences with them are basically just whiners where Life didn't quite go their way.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I understand there are some people who are truely like this, but there's a lot who just use it to get attention.

So I guess, my experience with this comes out as a sexual turn off of the Fashion to it, which influences my opinion, but so does everything do on everything else. .-.


Again, I don't mean to offend anyone, and I do know there are people who are truely Gothic, who are truely emotionally distressed, or "emo".
