If a girl is being bitchy you walk away and ignore them.
Works for me, girls tend not to try it again if you show your not going to put up with it.
And that is not an advocation of women beating. I mean through non violent means...

But if we mean handle literally, i would say firmly, but with a gentle touch.
Handle them firmly, touch them gently.

And then eat them.
