This is ripped off a website. I cooked it at my place, it turned out fantastic. It is also very easy to prepare and cook.

http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1739,144 ... 98,00.html

I'll look into my cookbook and see if there is anything else that is pretty easy to cook.

Too make your toast taste more interesting add a light layer of butter to the top of the piece of toast. Then sprinkle on a layer of cinnamon. If you also have some chocolate grind in a few pieces. It tastes fantastic!

    * 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
    * German stone ground mustard, to taste
    * 1/2 pound thick sliced bacon
    * 2 large onions, sliced
    * 1 (16 ounce) jar dill pickle slices
    * 2 tablespoons butter
    * 2 1/2 cups water
    * 1 cube beef bouillon

    1. Cut the flank steak into thin filets; about 1/4 inch thick and 3 inches wide.
    2. Generously spread one side of each filet with mustard to taste. Place bacon, onions and pickle slices on each filet and form into a roll. Use string or toothpicks to hold the roll together.
    3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Place the rolls in the butter and saute until browned.
    4. Pour in 2 1/2 cups of water and add the bouillon cube; stirring to dissolve the bouillon cube. Simmer the rolls for about an hour.

best serve it with potatoes and red cabbage

House Seasoning:

1 cup salt

1/4 cup black pepper

1/4 cup garlic powder

Southern Fried Chicken:

4 eggs

1/3 cup water

1 cup hot red pepper sauce

2 cups self-rising flour

1 teaspoon pepper

House Seasoning

2 1/2-pound chicken, cut into pieces

Oil, for frying, preferably peanut oil

To make the House Seasoning, mix ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

In a medium size bowl, beat the eggs with the water. Add enough hot sauce so the egg mixture is bright orange. In another bowl, combine the flour and pepper. Season the chicken with the House Seasoning. Dip the seasoned chicken in the egg, and then coat well in the flour mixture.

Heat the oil to 350 degrees F in a deep pot. Do not fill the pot more than 1/2 full with oil.

Fry the chicken in the oil until brown and crisp. Dark meat takes longer than white meat. It should take dark meat about 13 to 14 minutes, white meat around 8 to 10 minutes.
