Academy of War: Prologue

Postby ghost 9 » 12 Mar 2012, 23:54

He looked at the disgusting, and over populating humans that passed him by day after day, constently forcing him to have the unwavering urge to strike them all down, and to crush them until every single one of the insects lay dead at his feet. A man, bright red eyes, light blonde hair, not white yet not quite at the orangish tint yet, stood, at six feet tall, with a disgusted look as he peered out of the bookshop window. "How much longer must I endure this agony of being on the planet with these putrid and disgusting createures?" He asked the man hiding in the shadows of a book case. "Be patient, Ghost, for the war will certainly break soon, and then you may go to work with these vile creatures and their deities. Not even they know who are the true 'angels' of which they worship. The ones who consistently try and foil our attempts at cleaning up this planet from this scum. We have more troops than ever before, and our power is on the rise, unwavering as it soars farther and farther toward our goal. Soon, my brother, we will ascend upon our enemies, we shall rip them to shreds, destroy all of humanity, and reign supreme amongst this planet and our realm." The man said with a gleam in his eyes, and a smirk on his face. "I certianly hope it will be soon. Four centuries I have waited, honed my skills, and been patient, relucntently so, I must say. I want blood on my blade, and bones under my feet. I want the air soaring around my wings, my fangs ripping apart the vile scum that scurry around this planet, believeing they own it. If I don't get my war soon, I fear I may break sanity and ascend upon our enemies doorsteps. I lust for the war to come, and I am required to consistently await for the plans to unfold." Ghost told him with a menacing smirk, as he turned toward him. "Don't worry, you will get your blood." The man told him, and then his presence began to fade from the human's realm. "I certianly hope so." Ghost added, as he turned back toward the window.

Ghost left the bookshop, locking it even though he knew his pets would slaughter any unfortunete soul who would dare wonder into his shop unannounced. He began walking towards the city center, where he would sit at the park and bide his time. He caught the glimpse of a man, who seemed to be following him. Ghost Turn the corner and walked down the ally between the newly opened resturant, and the new general store that had opened up. Three men followed him in, blue eyes, black hair, two standing at six feet, and another standing at what seemed to be seven feet. They all had a serious face, and seemed to be gripping something from their side. Ghost Grabbed something from his waist, and unsheathed a crimson red sword, glimmering in the sunlight, and pitchblack feat hered wings extending from his back. The three men spread apart, each unfurling illuminatingly white wings, and plain silver swords. "Is this the best they could send me?" Ghost asked, removing his glasses. "We need send no more." The tallest one said. Then the tallest one jumped up and launched himself towards Ghost. Ghost merely sidestepped, parried the blade, and left a large gash on the man's chest. He formed something in his hand, and grabbed the mans face. The man turned bright red, his eyes giving off a bright white color, and then he dropped to the ground, his soul destroyed from the attack, and his corpse mortally wounded. The other two men hesitated and then drew their swords in preperation and jetted towards Ghost. Ghost let loose a torrent of souls, which bombarded the two men's bodies. They collapsed to the ground wailing as they lost their will and control. Ghost clenched his fist, held it out infront of him, gripped harder, and then let his hand relax. The souls inside the two men's bodies exploded all at once, ripping their souls apart along with their bodies. Ghost formed a beam of energy and focused it on his palm, furled up his wings, and released it at the largest man's body, incinerating it and ending the fight for good. He unsheathed his sword, and put his glasses back on, heading towards the park once again.

After the day had set, and the night had begun to fall, the shadow once again returned to the same spot at the bookcase. "It would seem the soldiers were a bit presumptious when they thought they could beat me. I guess those little arrogent runts have decided not to try it again." Ghost told the shadow, without turning around. "They know that a war is eminent and so they are trying to get rid of the remaining soldiers we have on Earth. Don't worry, tomorrow is when the war shall be declared, our troops will be prepared, and in two days time, an organized strike will be issued and their forces will be crushed one after another. No hope will remain from what we leave in our wake. Afterwards, we will slaughter this planet and its inhabitents, and then we shall proccede to habitize this place." The man in the shadows told him. "Josh, you truly must find a better appearence in this world a shadow alone is truly not suiting. Perhaps-" Ghost began to say "My current form is fine." Josh interupted him. "I don't intend to stay for long, nor have I ever." He added quickly. "Your choice, but I truly think another form would be far better than a simple shadow." Ghost commented with an amused expression. "Anyway, I intend to ambush a horde of those little 'angels' tomorrow after the decleration has been made. It should be an easy task, especially if I had aid." Ghost told Josh expectently. "I can scrounge up about ten soldiers for you, if it's a horde of more than fifty." Josh told him seriously. "It's a horde of about two hundred." Ghost told him with a smirk. "Hmmm...It would definetely hurt them greatly, seing as how they only have about a hundred thousand soldiers in all, and we have about five hundred thousand." Josh told him, deep in thought.

Prologue is out, Chatper I will be out soon.
"The costs of action are far less than the costs of inaction."
