Woah, this is wierd... Ghost thought to himself. "What?" Josh asked him? "I didn't say anthing...?" Ghost answered dazed "You just said that it was wierd?" Josh said with a frown. How did he know what I thought? Ghost thought. "Dude, you're not thinking silently, you're thinking outloud. That's how I hear you." Josh said, losing patience. Bloody idiot. He added in his head. "I am NOT an idiot." Ghost retorted with frustration. "Wait, how'd you hear my thoughts?!?" Josh asked in surprise. "Ha. Told you I wasn't crazy." Ghost said with a self assured grin. "I think that stone did more than strength us..." Josh trailed off as he could somehow sence a presence entering the chamber. Get ready, Josh. Ghost thought toward him. I'm ready. Josh assured him, and then got into a fighting stance once again, Ghost doing the same. I see you have found the stone as I had. Luckily you have not absorbed all of its power. I suggest you leave now while you still can, because otherwise I am going to have to kill you. A voice boomed inside their head. They both retracted from the voice, and somehow put up a powerful mental barrier. "You have grown to the powers fast, I'll give you that, but don't think I can't beat you." The man said from the staircase, and then an entity stabbed at the barrier repeatedly, trying to break through. The boys teamed up together and struck back, sttempting to overwhelming his mind with theirs. The man scontinued to walk towards them even though they had sent him retreating back into the depths of his conscieness. The two boys ran towards him, trying to avoid being seen.. The man slashed out at Josh, who parried his blade, and then cut the man on his leg, and then they both attacked his barrier with all of their might. The man fell to the groun helpless, now at the two boys mercy. "I'm afraid you wont be leaving ever again. You've attempted to hinder us, and you will merely cause problems. You cannot be allowed to leave alive." Ghost said with a seriouse tone. "You can't, Ghost." Josh said with a worried face. A small ball formed on his palm, and it glowed a light red, and then he slammed it into the man's chest. The man turned bright red, his eyes giving off a bright white color, and then he dropped to the ground, his soul destroyed from the attack. "That was the headmaster!" Josh exclaimed in terror. "Was being the keyword." Ghost said and then walked back toward the school with the red stone in his hand. "We've going to let the others use a bit of the power, but I want as much as I can absorb." he added, and then vanished from sight. Josh quickly followed, to avoid being caught at the scene of the crime.
"What's that?" Kirstin asked in a low whisper. "I don't know, but what I DO know, is that it holds allot of power. It gave me and Josh telepathy, and I don't think that's all." Ghost told the group, consisting of Max, Tyler, Kirstin, and Paton. "Where IS Josh?" Tyler asked curiously. "He's brooding about something that happened in the chambers. It's not an issue, though." Ghost told them quietly. "Alright..." Tyler replied unassured. The stone once again shone a bright red as power was transfered into the group, Ghost, Max, Tyler, Kirstin, and Paton. Woah, that was wierd! Kirstin thought. I heard your thoughts! Tyler thought and then looked at her. This is awesome! Paton said with grin. Even I must admit that these additional powers are cool. Max thought in his usual calm manner. They'll certainly be a useful addition. Ghost said to all of them. You guys should be heading back to bed. Josh thought toward them. He's right. Kirstin thought. Then the group broke apart, and headed to the dorms for the night.
As all of the students from the group awoke, they got dressed and then met infront of the messhall and then went in to find their seats. Right after they sat down, they noticed that a large number of the students weren't talking, and that not a few, but all, of the professors were in the messhall. As the last of the children began to become situated among the tables, the doors closed, and the attention was drawn to the three seventh years standing at the front with the professors. "Last night, there was a murder, one that only seventh years are capable of commiting. As you can see, three seventh years were aprehended, and are now going to be put on trial for their attempt. Today there will be no classes, also, the victim of this atrocity, was the headmaster, Professor Michael." Said Professor Alexander from the top of the teacher's messhall table, in the middle of the messhall, several feet higher than the other tables so they could see around the entire area. Quiet murmurs were heard all over the area, as students began talking to one another. Josh looked at Ghost with a look of worry, and Ghost stared back for a moment, completely calm, and then began talking to the other students, pretending to be completely ignorent of what had happened. By the end of the breakfast time, when the students went back to their dorms or into the gardens, the entire group assembled talking to one another mentally. What are we going to do, Ghost? They'll eventually find out it was us. Josh asked furiously. We're not going to DO anything. Let things happen, for they suspect those three, let them be executed or thrown in jail for it, or whatever those damn Light Hexans do. I don't care. Ghost thought toward him, and then added, If you keep worrying, though, you're going to end up getting us sold out. Josh glared at him, and then looked away...
