Academy of War: Fight or Flight

Postby ghost 9 » 17 Mar 2012, 05:22

Two days after the battlefield was discovered, and the three seventh years arrested, the classes had once again started. As the students slowly but surely filed into the messhall one more time before the day officially began, an air of tension had been noticed as they entered. Not the usual amount of tension, but one far more stressful and worrying. The teachers stared down at Ghost and the group that sat congregating, Ghost looking at the teachers out of the corner of his eye at all times. I think that it's time we haeded away from this place and over to the Dark Hexan Academy for Gifted Children. We don't belong here and we're sure to get arrested soon because of our little battle. Ghost thought toward the group as he browsed the professors thoughts. Agreed. I say we head out at noon. Kirstin thought in response. I can't leave, guys. It's just not me. I can't join you... Tyler said sadly. I can't go either... Paton added in. You Max? And what of you, Josh? Ghost asked them, looking from one to the other. I'll go. It's where I belong, and where we will be the most use. Max replied with an assured expression. I have no other choice, Ghost. You of all people should know. Besides, we lot need to stick together. Josh replied. Then we all leave at noon today. We're bound to get interrogated or imprisoned some time after that. Ghost told them. The group got up and moved toward the door, telling the professor at the door that they needed to go to the library before class started, which was true, but not to do work. They needed to plan how they intended to escape from here, and make it to their intended destination. The professor let them by without asking but one question: Why they needed to go there. It was unusual for a professor to only ask that, which is how they knew they needed to leave as soon as possible.

So after we get past the front gate, we're pretty much free. Afterwards, we can fly straight across the border and onto the Dark Hexan Academy and apply. Ghost said with a satisfied tone. Yup. After that, we're free to expand our power and knowledge until we're enlisted into the military. After that, we all get to the rank of general. Agreed? Josh asked. Agreed. They all thought in uninsion. The group got up and left for their dorms to pack their things in preperation for their flight from the school. "After this, Josh, we'll be free. There's still 2 more stones, both in the Dark Vexan territory. With it, our power can grow to the extent that anyone can reach. Imagine how strong we can be when we absorb it all? When we truly have all the knowledge we can quire? When our strength and endurance is increased to the largest amount possible? We'll be the best warriors, we'll be invincible!" Ghost exclaimed. "Quiet down." Josh said, not taking his eyes from his task. The door began to creek open as two Light Vexans, dressed in combat armor, and armed with a sword. "You two need to come with us. I'm lieutenant Aleksander Petrov. I'm here to ask you a few question about a situation you've been insinuated in. I'm sure we can clear it up quickly, though." The man in the front said. These kids couldn't possibly have killed him. They're only third years. How could a couple third years kill the Guardian of the Stone? This is a pointless waste of time. The man thought to himself. Ghost launched an attack on the man's conscieness and then the man stood still, unable to do anything. He unsheathed his sword and stabbed the other officer in the throat. The officer formed a small ball on his palm, and it glowed a light red, and then he tried to slam it into the man's chest. The lieutenant dodged the attack, and slashed the officer across his chest, and copied the officer's attack. The office his the ground the officer turned bright red, his eyes giving off a bright white color, and then he dropped to the ground, his soul destroyed from the attack. The officer then slammed his sword into the bottom of his chin, through his brain. "Time to go." Ghost told Josh, and then repeated it for Kirstin and Max to hear. After grabbing their things, they began to rush towards the front gate, where they had intended to meet. Once they were there, they unfurled their wings and flew towards the border, south of the academy. We're almost home free. Ghost told them. As if to contradict what he said, another three soldiers took flight from where they stood, chasing the four children, attempting to catch them.

Ghost turned around and launched several beams of energy at them, making them fly every which way, and become farther and farther behind. After they could not be seen again, Ghost stopped firing, and then let lose a torrent of energy which sent himself, Josh, Max, and Kirstin flying faster towards the Dark Hexan Academy. After an hour of flight, They reached the Dark Hexan and Light Hexan border, where a small band of six Dark Hexan soldiers lay in wait. They flew up and intercepted the group of children before they could make it past the border. "Why are you coming across our border?" the leading soldier asked them. "We want to join the Dark Hexan Academy for Gifted Children. We can't stay in the Light Hexan's school. We killed their headmaster, and we are now being hunted." Ghost told them in a serious tone. "You don't need to lie, child. We would've let you past if you had just said you wanted to go to the school. Your background will be checked before you can enter the academy, but you will probably be able to join." The leading soldier said, and then landed on the boundary outpost once again. Ghost motioned for the group to continue, and they adjusted their direction, flying southeast towards their destination. As the school came into view, the children flew even faster, Ghost dispelling even more energy. Once they arrived at the gates, they were greeted by a professor and a few Dark Hexan soldiers. "Why have you come here? You aren't Dark Hexans." The professor asked them. "We did not fit in from which we were borne from. We have come here because we believe this is our home, and where we belong. We wish to learn here, and then join the military." Ghost told him, and then the professor motioned for them to enter the school...
