"Why, hello." Ghost said with a grin, the others preparing to attack, getting in a formation. "You're to come with us immeadietly. You are now under arrest by the Council of the Light Hexans for murder." The lead soldier told them, unsheathing his sword in anticipation to fight. "I see...however, there's just one issue. We're already enrolled in this academy and have been made into a citizen of the Dark Hexan's lands. Trying to remove us, I believe, would be an act of war on your behalf. I suggest you leave, or prepare to be slaughtered." Ghost said in an arrogent tone, purposly antagonistic. "You are under arrest either way. Now come with us, children. You're no match for us." The man told them. The two men beside him unleashed beams into the man's back. He flew into Ghost's sword, which Ghost then formed a ball in his hand. He slammed it onto the man who was now pierced by his blade. The man turned bright red, his eyes giving off a bright white color, and then he dropped to the ground, his soul destroyed from the attack. At this point, The two officers had tried to cut down the other three soldier behind them. One soldier was on the ground, convulsing and bleeding heavily, as there was a large gash ranging from his shoulder blade, all the way down to his waist. It appeared to be a deep cut, at least an inch deep in the shallowedt area. As he convulsed, an organ had begun to fall out of his body. The two soldiers continued to parry and slash their opponent's and their blades. Time and time they failed. Ghost motioned with his hand for Max and Josh to end the fight. As Josh and Max got behind them, Ghost saw several classes of students looking at the battlefield from the window. Ghost released allo f his power, his mucsles bulged, and then he vanished, appearing behind one of the soldiers. He grabbed the man by his hair, Kicked in his knees, shattering the bone, and then forced him to sit on the shattered kneecaps. He pulled with all of his strength, and then you could see the flesh begining to tear, his jugular piercing, and then not but a red mess. Ghost let loose another Soul Vacume to destroy his opponent's soul, and then looked toward the pieces of the other soldier. Ghost put his hands on the faces of both of the soldiers whose mind he had taken over, and let loose a soul vacume from them both. They hit the ground while the group of children took fligfht towards the area where a black stone was believed to be stored. Show off. Josh thought to Ghost, and then continued to fly.
"What marked the entrance, Josh?" Ghost called over his shoulder. "A cloud with a falcon flying." Josh replied. They continued to search around for the entrance, as they had done constintly for hours. "This is impossible!" Kirstin said in frustration, sitting down. "It's well worth the search." Ghost told her, continueing to move around in search of the symbol. A feint thudding noise could be heard, steadily rising in volume. "You hear that...?" Ghost asked Josh, who came bounding over to him, Max only a few feet away. "Yeah, and I don't like the sound of it." Josh replied, as the group unsheathed their swords and began to look around. The sand beneath them began to vibrate as whatever was coming, neared from underground. The group looked down, and then launched themselves into the air, suspending themselves in it, waiting for whatever was coming to appear. The sand began to cave in several feet from where they had been standing, and out came a scorpion like beast, with wings like an eagle, a tail pronged with three blade-charp thorns, legs like a spider, and gigantic muscled arms like that of a giant. Holding in it's hand, unsheathed upon rising from the ground, was a massive blade, that seemed to glow green, as if trying to warn them of its potent power. "Crap..." Ghost mumbled to himself. It turned toward the group, and then said in a deep and sanded voice, "Is it you who is attempting to seek the stones?" Ghost and the rest of the group exchanged looks. "Indeed, we are." Ghost said, landing infront of the beast, Max landing behind him. Josh and Kirstin unleashed their full power, and then launched themselves into the hole the beast had created. Before the beast could move to slash at them, a whip of energy had formed in Ghost's hand, and he had caught the beast in place, forcing him to keep his sword lowered. "I don't think so. You have to worry about US first." Ghost said, and then prepared his sword, knowing full well that a hard battle ensued.
The beast tried to pull his arm back, but it the energy only tightened around his arm and refused to budge. "It's futile to keep attempting-" Ghost began, and then the beast took his sword and cut the string of energy. "Child, do not think you can match me." The beast replied, and then launched himself at Ghost, bringing all his strength down on Max's blade. Max dodged the blade by rolling to the side, while Ghost merely took the beast head on, and matched the beast's strength, but he was being pushed, first an inch...then a foot...then three feet... Ghost jumped back, kicking the beast in the face, while Max pounced from behind, and cut off the beast's tail, and then slid down, falling on his back. Once again, Ghost made the energy whip and stopped the man from just slinging his sword and crushing the boy on his back, and then he placed it on the ground. The beast tossed his sword into another hand, and then another energy whip grabbed his other hand, and Ghost planted it on the ground like the other one. Ghost gave a menacing chuckle, and then dashed towards the beast. It began to thrash, trying to stop his impending doom, while Max brought his blade into the creature's spine, and then cut it in 2. The beast let go a blood curdling yell, and then only his front half was thrashing. Ghost was now infront of the beast, and he slammed his blade through the beast's chin, through his brain, and out the other end of his skull. The beast stopped moving and hit the ground, a cloud of dust forming. Max and Ghost took off into the tunnel before them, trying to catch up with Kirstin and Josh incase they needed help...
