Academy of War: The Separation

Postby ghost 9 » 21 Mar 2012, 22:06

Josh and Kirstin rushed into the chamber, which broke off from the tunnel, and it was pitch black, save for two torches that were intended to light up the chamber, and in each corner of the chamber, was a giant sculpture of a warrior. One of the warriors held a spear, while the other three held a sheathed blade, and yet only one had a shield. "Must be monuments to the ancients." Josh commented, and then proceded toward the massive gates infront of them. Before he could get to the door, a massive blade came crashing down infront of him, and it was at least two times taller than him, and at least an acre long. Josh jumped back to avoid the blade's after effects, but all too late. A cloud of dust stirred up and whipped him all around. The other three statues began to move, preparing to attack like the first one. The speared warrior jabbed at Kirstin, who spun out of the way, just missing the spear tip. She grabbed onto the spear, and as the warrior lifted it up again, he could not find her. The statue Josh had been attacked by, had continued it's onslaught, bringing its blade down on his, but Josh was holding the blade against his, unwavering, but certainly strained by the wieght pressing down on him. He unleashed a torrent of energy, which climbed the blade and began to tie around the statue. Another statue had moved behind him, and had raised its blade, and then Ghost slid down out of the tunnel, letting loose a beam of energy at its head. The head was completely obliterated, and the statue's remains began to fall apart. Ghost motion towards Josh, and then ran towards the speared warrior, fire in his eyes, and a hunger for blood. As the speared warrior saw him dashing towards him, he jabbed his spear in the ground directly infront of him. Ghost jumped on the blade, jumped up, and flew towards the face of the statue, and then caught the spear from where the statue had tried to slash him. "Due to my previous encounter with one of the gaurdians, I was able to absorb the power from the red stone, and the black stone burried deep within the depths of that cavern. You cannot defeat me, and you cannot overpower me. You are an insignifcant variable that I intend to remove!" Ghost shouted, and then increase the gravity on the statue's arms. They shattered like a twig being stepped on, and then fell down to the ground. "And now your end is assured..." Ghost said, and let loose another beam of energy into the statues face, Kirstin taking flight and avoiding the mess.

Josh had begun to weaken, and then Max appeared beside the blade, and then in a blur, the blade was cut in two. Max spund around and kicked the second half of the blade, shattering it indefintely. Josh collapse to his knees, supporting himself with an arm, and then looked up to see the beast get shot in the face with a beam of energy. Max ran over towards Josh, picked him up, and dodged the second blade by jumping, and set him away from the fray. Max parried the statue's blade with ease, and then shot a beam at its leg, incinerating it. He dashed forward once again, cutting off the other leg, and launching himself in the air, his sword cutting through the stone in the giant with every inch that he flew. The giant had collapsed to the left, from when his first leg was incinerated, and had barely been able to support its weight, while Max was tearing through the last remanents of his body. The blade cut through the stone like butter, and Max relaxed as he flew away from the remains of the statue, the blade freeing itself from the stone. The giant collapse, now in three seperate pieces. Josh stood up, his power returning, and then Ghost tossed him the red stone, and he used the energy to repair himself. "Thanks." Josh nodded towards Ghost as he was gaining strength, more than he had before the battle. Ghost walked with Kirstin towards the massive gate, while Max stood by Josh incase another trap would spring. Ghost frowned as he saw what was in the gate. "I think we're going to need two stones before we're able to open this door..." Ghost said in a disapointed tone. "Crap!" Max yelled aloud. Ghost put his finger into the two holes in the gate. Josh tossed him the red stone, and then he fitted it into the gate. "Yup, perfect fit." Ghost commented. "Max, you stay here, I'm contacting the headmaster and getting you a battalion so you can protect this place. Me and Josh are going to look for the other stone, and Kirstin is going to stay at the school as the link for you to us. Are we all agreed?" Ghost described in a serious tone. "Agreed." They all said in uninsion. Ghost reached his mind out toward the headmaster.

Are you there? Ghost thought toward the headmaster. Yes, and we're still cleaning up YOUR mess. What do you want? The headmaster said in an irritated tone. We've found one of the stones, but we can't access it until we get another. We also can't afford it to fall into the Light Hexan's hands. Can you send over a battalion of soldiers over here? We'll advance their weaponry, and they'll absorb more and more power the longer they're here. Also, Max will be here and ready incase of a fight. Ghost asked the headmaster. I'm sure I can arange something. He replied. Ghost told Kirstin, Max, and Josh of the conversation that had just occurded, and then linked his mind with theirs, waiting for a response. The general has decided it is only beneficial to do so, and has allowed a battalion to be spared for the occasion, however you had BETTER produce results. Am I completely clear? The headmaster explained to them not but a half hour after they had put in the request. Excellent. the four children said at the same time. Then they parted ways, Kirstin to the school, Josh and Ghost to the other stone, and Max staying behind and adding defenses to the area. When we reunite again, my friends, we'll have the power to hunt down the remaining stones. After this, my friends, only three remain out of our hands, and we can easily get an aditional two. Ghost said in an excited tone. Now, let us be off, so we may reunite soon, my brothers. Ghost said, and then took flight with Josh towards the southwest, Kirstin going Northeast, and Max adding wards and barriers to the area, preparing to make it a strong hold...
