Academy of War: Surprise Birthday Present

Postby ghost 9 » 17 Sep 2012, 21:01

"We have incoming!" Shouted a professor into the dorms. All of the students got up simultaniously, grabbing their weapons. "First to 4th years are to go to the hall and wait there. Everyone else is to grab your weapons, and meet the Light Hexan battallion before they can hit the school!" Shouted another professor. Ghost, Max, Josh, and Jaxon jetted out of their bed, grabbed their weapons, and threw on their armor. When they rushed out of the dorm, and into the hall, they met Kirstin, and then headed to the front gate, to meet the other Dark Hexans. After all of the warriors had assembled, the from gate opened onto the path that lead to the school. Near by, a large group of Light Hexans, at least 100 battle-hardened warriors, made their way to the school. Ghost, Josh, Max, and Jaxon launched into the air, their wings suspending them, and then they launched balls of energy at the group. As the balls of energy got close, the Light Hexans began to scatter, but it was too late. First 1 dropped to the ground, a massive hole in his chest, then another, and another. As the three students continued to bombard the light hexans, the first wave hit the students below.

Kirstin flung herself into the front line, and left a large gash in a lgiht hexan's throat, and slamming a soul vacume into him. Jaxon came crashing down onto the group of 17 light hexans. "Prepare yourselves." Jaxon said, and then cleaved one of their heads in two. 2 light hexans turned their attention to him, their blades readied. As one of them launched themselves at him, he parried the blade with his ax, and then burried the second blade into his spine. When he pulled the blade out, he launched a soul vacume into the man's face. Now turning his attention to the other light hexan, a blade burried deap into his stomache, and then into his spine. Jaxon threw his blade upward, slamming it into the light hexan's chin.TheThe light hexan whose head he caved in earlier had gotten up, fully healed, and prepared himself. Jaxon pulled the blade out of his stomache, and healed himself. Launching a soul vacume into the light hexan's face who had stabbed him earlier. "I will take you down before our forces retreat." The light hexan said. Jaxon turned toward the voice, and saw the man. A smirk appeared on Jaxon's face. "What are you smirking at, ch-" The hexan began to say, and then a soul vacume hit him from behind.

"Well done, everyone." Ghost called from above, and then landed beside Max and Josh. "They must be getting mad knowing that we have 4 out of the 6 stones. This will not be the last time we will have to deal with them, I can assure you." Josh said with a wary face. "Everyone needs to go back to their dorms and rest. It's been a long night." Ghost said, and then the students filed through the gate, going back to their dorms. The headmaster, along with the group, stayed behind. "They were after the stones." The headmaster commented. "Most likely. We only killed about 30 of them. Which means we'll be hearing from them again. And next time they'll probably be a bit more prepared." Ghost said warily. "We should go and rest. The sooner we can get back to searching for the stones, the better." Max added, and then began to walk toward the gate, the group along with the headmaster following behind him.
