The First Message.

Zen City was bustling with activity. Crowds filled the streets and flowed freely from building to building. The city was rife with merchants and business, as it tended to be during Tranquility's long summer months. "Fine Frookitan steel!" A merchant called out. "Blessed by the holy preachers of the Frooktican!" Sweat dropped down the salesman's forehead due to the collective heat of the sharp sun and the masses moving with fluidity and organisation that could only be matched by a hive of bees.

Low level ITPT agents watched the crowds mindfully, keeping an eye out for pickpockets and other petty criminals. Every so often, one would glance at their watch awaiting the end of their shift and the chance to get out of the blistering heat. They squinted at the crowds from their raised platforms as the high noon sun glared at them from above.

Deep in the mass of shoppers and commuters, a steely-faced man was advancing to a nearby square. He was clad in dark robes, similar to the attire worn by an elemental in the college on the Southern Isle. Anyone who happened to notice this peculiar figure would have assumed that he was simply in a rush, evident by his somewhat hasty movement through the crowd. Soon, the man was in the very centre of the square receiving very little attention from the ITPT agents dotted around standing sentinel.

The man pressed his hands together. An orange glow started to pulsate from the hands of the robed man, drawing the attention of the nearby crowd. The glow continued to increase, a pained look creeping across the mage's face. A small group started to surround the man, transfixed by their own curiosity. The man opened his palms, and a brief emotion shot across his face. It could have been regret, fear or even a perverted sense of pride. It didn't matter. Pandemonium struck before anyone had a moment to think, as a fireball erupted from the man, engulfing him and a large portion of the square in flames.

Hours later, the attack was being reported across Tranquility, with the ITPT being heavily criticised for their failure to protect the capital. It was then when the messages started to appear across the nation.

In the aftermath of such a violent and terrible event, it is clear that the only one to blame is the so called protectors. The ITPT has failed Tranquility once again. Whilst its leader is hosting tea parties in Arventia, she fails to do her job at keeping you safe. The attack in Zen City today will not be the last. There will be more to come. This is Libertal's first message. The ITPT does not keep you safe. There will be further messages. We will not rest until Tranquility is firmly under our control. Do not oppose us, or you will doom yourself to the same grave as the ITPT
