please??? like wtf new chat got more votes anyway.
ik on computer you can hover over the message sender to see what time they sent that message, but that won't work on mobile. also the time is wildly inaccurate to my timezone.

If the vote is in favour, bring it back. If it messes with the format, can't we make the chatbox slightly bigger on the page?

Bigger wouldn't fix it. The way it is designed is that the time stamp is always above the "first" line of text for each message. So even if the chat was "bigger" it would still look relatively the same.
