This new forum is here for you to discuss exactly what you want to happen within the FWG community.

Much like the FWG survey that was sent out, this is designed to find out what you want and would like to happen.

This is really only an expansion of that survey - a place for everyone to discuss everything they want. Like the survey created the roleplaying room/forum, hopefully we all will post ideas and thoughts on what needs to be made, improved or isn't working.

This isn't for posting about people in paticular, and who should be banned, not is it for people to discuss who they like and don't like.

For example, we don't want a topic on:
-somebody needs to be banned
- why was I banned
- this mod is rubbish
etc.

We do want:
- I think this should be improved
- I don't like this section of the forum because...
- I think that this needs to be changed.

We hope that this will work well and that we'll get good ideas out of this.

First of all,
My opinion on mod's:
Hito, has told me we are lacking mods in fwg, if you ask me, there are far too many! So much green, and then everyone want's to be a mod! i know that can't be changed, but it seems to be a bit odd. & ive seen my ranking says "fwgchatmod." Does that mean i'm only going to be mod on cghatbox & not the forum? Kinda stupid!

Another is, Why on earth do people make forum accounts, and never even use them? i kinda think its a waste of space to have sooo many accounts if you arent going to use them, and people actually make more! Wtf!! I kinda dont want to look through a list of people I have never even heard about, when i am trying to find a specific person!

Also, I would kinda like to know wtf the "bug reports" Category is all about? is it basically just for gamers? Why cant it be put in the game section? instead of having extra un-needed forum categories.

Also, this whole issue of the chatbox, I feel we should have 4 chatrooms, instead of 3. Because 1/3 of those that we have now, consits of role-play! And most of the time the children don't even listen to us when we say go rp in rp room. Maybe we should have a whole chatbox dedicated to RP and then just make room 3 back to the way it was.
I aslo listened to someone say how there should be a chatbox for the children who are banned. they end up going to room 2 or 3 & just being bored. So why not make a chat box for those who are banned so they at least have something to do when they are banned.

Also, Everytime i go to this website, I get sidebars advertising for games on sites, and it slows my whole computer down just downloading the picture in the add, so why in the world are we advertising for things? Can we just go back to how it was before and please not advertise? i know you want people to see the different gaming options, but it's not like they wont find it somewhere else. I seriously can't keep dealing with a slow computer esecially when someone needs banned or yelled at, and I can't do it because its lagging so much.

I agree. All the people who made an account and NEVER USED IT are just taking uo space! I agrre with the rest of the statement, also. Bug reports could be a sub-forum inside game chat! The RP room is useless. A fourth room would be about as full as rm. 2. So I vote same chatrooms as before, just a rkeep the rule against rm. 1 RP.

I agree with you cept for the bugs thing. It is for chat too, I believe.

yes, indeed, we're still looking for mods.
You're correct that at times there are perhaps too many.
However at times there aren't enough.
This is due to the fact that we have 24 timezones as well as lives.
The reason why there is quite a number of mods is simple, it's to (within reason) assure that there can be a mod present at all times.
It's also why we try to geographically spread our mod team.

What you actually see are those that are in fact actived, there are still quite a few inactive accounts and names registered, those you don't see. These however are being cleaned up.

As you might be aware FWG also makes it's own games.
Obviously some of these games might contain bugs, for that reason there is a bug report section on the forum.
It's also handy to report things that are broken, such as links, a chat server crash, or issues similar to this that have to do with this site.
So it's a bit more than just games.

Being banned is a punishment. It prevents you from chatting because you did something bad. It would not be much of a punishment if all banned people would not even be able to be banned in a room especially created for them.

This is a website, you have the forum, the chat which are all hosted on servers for a price, there are also games that need to be made and personel that needs to be paid.
The advertisement serves as a source of revenue to pay for all this.
Without the adverts, there would not be FWG. However deciding how many we need is not up to me, that's up to fwg.

To add to what Hitokiro said 3 rooms is more than enough 2 normal chats and RP because if u look at the chat performance there is not an actual need for a 4th room as there are not enough active users on at any one time...

Orby my dear if u really really wanted u could get an add on to your web browser which will block ads and flash players until u allow them to run that would stop your computer lagging?!
