since other sites are saying our rp is "sloppy" so i suggest we have stages of rp.This might need a new room, so the newbie RP`ers have there rp room and the really involved RP`ers have there room. Please post your opinion about this suggestion.

I kind of think it's a good idea, and kind of don't,cuz we already have a chat for the involved RPers.Pm me if you want the link.
Just some guy who used to come here a lot.
If for some reason you want to get in touch (idk what people on here use nowadays):
Discord: pablo#3067
Or just PM me on here and I'll give you my username for something you do have.

Re: Stages of rp
I think that separate stages could be useful. The main reason the RP here is sloppy is due to three primary reasons: the chat room, the organization and the fighting.
The chat rooms can have everyone pop in and out and does not seem to have a way to get rid of people who are causing a problem, especially if they are not members of the site. RP should be best done in the forums since there are only three chat rooms.
The organization needs help just because there is no unification and some of the rules are kind of awkward. 3 powers is either severely limiting or allows for way too many. What if I pick telekinesis as one power? A creative player is able to do a ton of things with that power, including fly. There needs to be an establishment on what these things can do or their limits. As I mentioned earlier and several times, the DnD rule system I am advocating will fix this problem.
Last but not least is the fighting system. The main system I have encountered here is the t3, or "speed" system. It focuses on how faster the mun (person who controls the character) types. The typing speed of the mun should not represent the overall power of a character in any way shape or form. This gives an unfair advantage to people who type faster, even if it is sloppy typing, especially in comparison to people who are used to the t1 fighting style. (T1 is typically a paragraph/multiparagraph fighting style where each combatant lists out moves and/or responses to their opponent in detail. It uses a respect based system where neither character godmods or is invulnerable, etc. Sometimes, but not too often now, there are judges to determine the hits after every "round" of combat.) It also lends itself for sloppy RP work such as *dodges* and other one line moves. Once again I refer back to my solution of the DnD system for a solution to this problem.
This is not to say that there are not good parts of the current system. There are good ideas but the lack of rules and proper establishment of who is where, etc. inhibit them from taking full effect.

Re: Stages of rp
The room doesn't allow people to interact with each other as often if people are not online. Personally I don't consider a chat where there is a very small limit of text allowed comparatively to be for good RP. But, this is just my personal opinion. Maybe I am too elitist.

Ooka, I concur with your ideas. You have an idea, reasons to back it up, and an explanation of the idea.

I am trying to help fix the RP place up but I can't do much without being a mod or having a widespread following. Shame honestly.

Tak to hito about this whole system thing, to get his attention about it--The mod thing, don't expect it so soon. You have to earn that. The following thing, consider me your first "follower"!

I sent a message to Mr. Orange who then forwarded it to Hito. I still have not gotten a response.
