The rudeness of this dark being aside, what will you do? You seem to be alone in the room, save for a skittering noise and the smell of rotting wood. It is incredibly dark, too. You can't see a thing.

I shall attempt to scavenge for something flammable and burn it, producing light and lighting the room up, allowing me to see around the room, taking a look around the room afterwards.

The RAT dropped a small pouch made of rat skin. The drawstring on the pouch seems to be made of a rat's tail. Its corpse seems to be gone. A tad morbid if you ask me, but hey. You open the pouch, and it immediately dissolves into a fine dust, leaving an item in your hand.
It is a DAGGER made of the FINEST RAT STEEL.
[ITEMDEX: 031 RAT STEEL DAGGER - The RAT STEEL DAGGER is actually FAIRLY UNREMARKABLE, but when properly modified it can be GRUESOME. Does DOUBLE DAMAGE to RODENTS. When EQUIPPED, gives +2 to MELEE and +1 to MAGIC.
You stash it in your inventory. Maybe you'll use it. Maybe you won't. (3) (Note: You can only do one major action per turn. Killing the rat was that action. You can try to summon something better in the next turn, if you like.)
TED, you SCAVENGE for something FLAMMABLE. You find a RUBBER TORCH. It is not FLAMMABLE. In fact, it might not even be a TORCH.
[ITEMDEX: 032 RUBBER TORCH - This STRANGELY PHALLIC object does not seem to have a purpose. It is made of rubber, so it cannot be lit on fire.
Oh, well. At least you have entertainment. (3)
LUKIA, you investigate the material and it feels...like a material that you could burn if it were drier. It seems as if investigating this through touch isn't doing much for you.

I put the torch in my inventory and attempt to smell where the location of the rotting wood is, and attempt to light it on fire afterwards if it's found.

I equip my RAT STEEL DAGGER to my sword hand, then attempt to summon something else, perhaps something that won't fail to do my bidding.
