if someone has a preferred name or pronouns or nickname or whatever that they want you to call them, just fucking do it. don't question it or ignore what they say. if it's gonna make them happy, then fucking do it. if they write their signature on their art or whatever with their real name, acknowledge that yes, that is their real name, but you don't have to go screaming it to the world at the top of your goddamned lungs.
jeez i can't believe i trusted some of you enough with the tiny bit of information that is my real goddamn name and told you either a. not to tell anyone or b. not to call me by it and you do both a and b. it's disrespectful and gross.
there are no exceptions for ANY OF YOU to call me by my real name. please respect my decision. better yet, forget my real name altogether. i'm sick of people calling me by it. i swear to god if one more person calls me by my real name or even makes a hint at it, i will leave this website.
and if you're curious to know my real name now, don't bother asking because i'm not going to tell you. i WOULD have if most of the people on here hadn't already lost my trust. if you all really respected me and what i want, like a small few of you on here, i wouldn't have had to write all this.

I can't BELIEVE I have to bring this back again. I'm not even going to bother keeping it anonymous. It's not being hypocritical. It's personal preference. Some are okay with people calling them by their real name. I want people to call me Boxy. I don't want to be called Grace.
