The empty seat next to me,
A horrible reminder of the melancholy,
Hate and pain in my inside.
It would be much better to die.
Always alone and emaciated,
Makes me wonder, “why I was created?”
Its as if the stars were never with the moon.
As if the tears fall down too soon.

Love is just another argot,
“I’m here for now then ill go.”
So loneliness is appeasing
Being alone in the dark, crying without direct reason.

Like an iceberg I am
Alone and damned
To continue a cycle with no exit.
Floating in a sea of hatred
Melting and freezing making strident sounds
Feeling as if I’m falling down ?!

Making no motion at all
Hearing someone call
Not being able to listen.
Because the pain just thickens,
The empty seat next to me…

Tells me, “No one has sympathy,
For a soul consumed in his own misery”
Never wanted love but I wish I had it.
Too ignorant, to distracted
Sinking in this fucked up sea ,
Filled with sharks, full of hate and apathy.

I wouldn’t care to be loved
To be pulled to be shoved.
Into a river of joy and care
Where pain exists but is very rare.
But only for a while it lasts
Until I’m cast back
Into that sea.

So I’d rather not be deceived
Stay alone I’d prefer
That is in fact the only cure
to the love disease,
The empty seat next to me.
