yes then, because they are both nu, which isnt even metal

not all their stuff is nu. the albums believe and parts of the sickness are nu but the rest not so much. disturbed was influenced by some classic rock and added some of those elements in it making it sound that way. also, during the time nu metal became a genre disturbed was around so they were put into that list, but some critics (yes vas real critics) classify them as hard rock or alternative metal. also nu metal is a mixure of pop rock and sometimes rap. they dont rap and there isnt very much pop put into it.
it may seem that way but its most likely because of Draiman's voice.
