How Has God Changed Your Life?

This is a topic for Christians! If you're not a Christian, please don't post stuff like 'I don't believe in God' and everything. This is not asking your beliefs, it's just asking my fellow Christians how God has helped them.

How has God helped me? Well, he's guided me through some really rough points in my life. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here today.. and I mean that... I got really close to doing some stupid stuff... anyway, I thank the Lord for the life I have!

Well, when i was in 5th grade i became a born again Christian. Though i did, i never really gone to church with my dad who is a regular goer. Some reasons i dont is most of the time i find church boring.

Anyway, my grandpa was diagnosed with cancer last year, the doctor said he wont survive for another 4 months. Yet i prayed hard and everyday for him and i believe by doing that i think God let him stay on earth a little longer cause hes still alive and kicking.

I don't go to church either, though I should.. I just.. don't =P My family and I used to go every Sunday when I was little, but my parents fought every Sunday morning, so we stopped going. Then I would go to Youth Group Church on Wednesdays.. but I don't even do that anymore.

But I still keep strong faith, and I think that's all that matters. As long as you know and love the Lord, he is happy.

I don't really understand why a thread about god has to be for Christians. It isn't the only religion that worships a god. A better title might have been "How has Christianity changed your life?"

And, to Insightful, I meant I just don't want people coming on here talking about how much they hate God and how they don't believe in him and all that crap. This is for the people that DO believe in God, not for the people that don't. That's all I meant.

Woof, shouldn't this be in Seriouss Discussion? Jus'saying. Nothing tragic has ever really happened, and nothing I've needed to pray hard for.

If anything were to happen, I wouldn't only go to god. Friends, family, friends of family, whoever will listen, and ask them to pray.

Maybe the problem would go away faster, leaving god surprised.
