Pennsylvania is full of cracked roads because you kinda have to go through PA at some point to get to New England...We have some of the worst roads in the country however, the App Mountains are beautiful so I guess there isn't a total downside ...

Okay, if we're going to start bragging, I'm going to have to say I'm in the football-belt. The past 3 national champions have been from the state of Alabama. We also have some of the lowest taxes in the nation, which has it's downsides (horrid public transportation, low school funding, etc.). Some rural parts of Alabama are pretty, and we're near the scenic Rocky Mountains.
