"it gave me these things"
"except KILLING"

You have taken the wrong thing from that message.
By "I could do whatever I wanted" I meant I could make a freaking snowman or Help a neighbor out or play outside because I was unable to do those things growing up.
By "Besides Killing, guns, etc." I meant if you want those things, this isn't the game for you.

Here's a story of me visiting a town through Dream Suite.

The Town of Paintings: Part 1
Chapter 1: A Calm Night
It was a silent, calm night in the land of Okane. All of the stores were closed, and all the resident's homes had no light on. The only thing that could be shown was the shadows of objects, the twinkling stars, and a bright full moon. Not a single sound was heard. However, a girl with short blonde hair named Koe stood up all night. She had crystal blue eyes, wore a gray torn dress, and was barefoot. "It's getting late...I should probably get some sleep." Koe said. She was afraid of all those monsters lurking out there, and she never knew what could happen to her. So Koe laid in bed and laid her head against the soft white pillow. She threw the soft blankets over her and slowly drifted off to sleep, peacefully.

Chapter 2: A Dream Come True
By the time Koe had woken up, she was no longer in her house or in her room. She had only awoken to see herself laying on a completely white couch. Koe quickly jumped off of the couch and looked around, frightened. "This...this isn't my home.." Two spaces in front of the couch was a bass, violin, cello, and a viola arranged in a square. There were two other white couches on the side of the instruments. Around the room were numbers from 0 to 9, but they were all lamps lit up. Koe squinted her eyes as the light flashed in her eyes, walking inside the left room on the first floor.

The left room on the first floor had light pink, baby blue, white, and even golden colors almost everywhere. There were chairs and sofas, lamps, and very few plants. There was a bed on the right side of the room. Could someone have lived here? Koe looked to the bottom left corner and found a harp, but that's not all she found. She found a giant white piano in the middle of the room with a white chair behind it. Although Koe was curious, she was afraid to touch it. She was in a different world and she never knew what could happen. Behind the giant piano, on the left was a couch with two chairs on its side. Two other chairs were on the floor, diagonally from the chairs next to the sofa. "Pretty..." Koe thought to herself. Then she had walked off and headed to the right room.

The right room was full of pictures of residents the owner of the house must have known. There were tables and chairs, along with dressers. Every where Koe walked, there was at least one picture in front her. Then, she saw a harpsichord. She was too afraid to touch it. After all, she didn't know what traps this place could hold. There was another bed in the room. "Someone must be living here," Koe thought to herself again. All these thoughts in her head just had her thinking. She then noticed a camera on the table and grabbed onto it, accidently taking a picture. Koe screamed and sprinted out the room quickly.

It felt like Koe was blind. She ran behind the sofa she had woke up on and went into a different room. When she ran inside, her vision was finally clear. All around Koe were regal like furniture with tables, sofas, lamps, vanities, and even a piano along with a clock. There was another bed, so it was clear; someone must be living here. Koe walked over to the piano and looked to the left of it, only to find a letter laying on the floor. "What could this be?" Koe questioned herself. She picked the letter up and ran out the room.

All that was left to explore was upstairs and downstairs. Koe blamed herself on her curiosity. Although she was tempted to get back to Okane, she wanted to explore this strange place even more. However, she knew she would regret it at the end. She went with her gut instinct and decided to go downstairs first. Downstairs was a classroom like room with desks and chairs. On several of the desks there was an item on top of it. Koe noticed three mannequins in the room. One was dressed as a school girl with a uniform, the other was dressed up as a police officer, and the other was probably the teacher. She noticed an axe that was on one of the desks. "An....axe? Why?" Koe thought to herself. The thoughts of what happened made her shiver. She then walked upstairs to the main room. All that was left was the upstairs room.

Koe braced herself for anything that would ambush her as she ran upstairs. Upstairs was terrifying to her; there were these strange looking robots in different colors. Spotlights were shining everywhere and rock music played everywhere. She screamed and ran downstairs, tripping over a step and falling down. Koe had bruised her knee badly. She looked up and saw four counters with number lamps on them. On the left side of the main room, the two numbers on the counters said "07". On the other side the numbers said "22". "What could this mean?" Koe then realized this was the time where she could finally escape! "This is it! This is the way back home where I belong!" Koe ran out...only to see a different world in front of her eyes.

Chapter 3: A Different World
"Oh no...no, no, no! This isn't supposed to happen! I'm supposed to be back in my own house!" Koe panicked. She turned around and looked up, noticing that the house she was in was a castle. "A CASTLE!" Koe shouted. However, there was no time to waste. She ran around this strange land, dashing through trees and bushes and following the stone paths. As she continued to walk, she later got hungry. Koe desperately looked for something to eat, but she could not find any fruit trees. She dashed through bushes, white lilies and tall cedar trees. Just then, she suddenly stumbled up to a wide and tall house with a red roof. She could smell food inside, so Koe ran into the house. It was another adventure for her...

Inside the main room of the house was a café themed room. It had fancy tables and chairs, along with a kitchen on the right side. A jukebox was between a chair and a couch, playing a song that felt like it came from a music box. Koe looked to her right and saw a menu that listed coffee, tea, and cake. She stared at all the delicious treats and desserts on the tables, and was tempted to eat. No one lived here, after all, so Koe went ahead and ate some of the sweets. Once she was done, she laid down on a couch for a while. She also decided to explore this house. Maybe she would find a way to get out in here. Koe hopped off the couch and went to the room on the left.

In this room, Koe found red and black almost everywhere. It played some sort of Chinese music, and there were Chinese soups and food as well. The smell of the soup reminded her of when her mother always used to make soup for dinner. If only she could see her again. Once Koe looked towards the cash register, she saw another mannequin standing behind it. This mannequin was dressed up in a funky wig, with some gray shades and a red jacket. He was also wearing red pants and shoes. "This food will eventually rot," Koe thought to herself seeing how no one lived here.

When Koe walked into the right room, it looked like an office with many computers and modern stuff. Most of the stuff was black and white, but barely anything was a different color. The room also contained about only two plants. Koe looked over to the TV and apparently, it was on. Why would the person leave the house and still keep the TV on? The thought got her thinking. They had even left on the lamp too, so Koe decided to turn off the lamp and the TV.

Chapter 4: Something Strange is Going On
Once Koe went into the back room, it looked like a church. In the back of the room, stood a priest behind a counter. The priest wasn't real, but it was another mannequin dressed up in black and white clothing. There was a church organ in the top left corner of the room, and many white lilies and pillars were on the sides. In the middle were wooden benches to sit on. This reminded Koe of the church she and her mother used to go here. However, she thought something else. Why would the owner of this house make a room as if it they were in church?

The upstairs room was full of wooden items such as chairs, tables, counters. Almost everything in the room was made out of wood! There were also some fruit baskets on some tables. Some teddy bears were scattered around the room, and there were also two beds. One bed was perfectly clean, but the other's cover was half-way off and the pillow was not where it should be. Koe noticed that in the top right corner, there was a black doll hidden between a chair and a counter, and was also behind one of the wooden tables. She looked around and noticed several paintings on the walls. They all appeared to be real.

The last room Koe had to explore was the basement downstairs. There were four blue chairs and a reception counter as well. There were two lamps lit up shaped like lotus flowers, and there was a table with a candle on top. Behind the table and lamps were two counters with black and white lilies on them. Behind the two counters was a picture of a raccoon in gray and white. "Could it have been the owner's pet?" Koe questioned herself. She ignored all her questions and looked for an exit. Once Koe had found the exit, she noticed that this house couldn't let her return to Okane.

(It is vital that you look up "Ib" the horror game to get the references.)
The Town of Paintings: Part 2

Chapter 5: The Nightmare Has Only Begun
Koe dashed through more cedar trees, running over white lilies and dodging bushes as she ran. "I have to find a way out!" Just then, she tripped and fell in front of a slope that led to a beach. She walked down the slope and noticed a silver shovel. She picked it up and waved it around, but accidently hit one of the coconut trees. Koe quickly dropped the shovel and looked around, with pansies and carnations on the beach. There were also multiple colored roses, cosmos, and lilies. While Koe walked down to the end of the beach, she noticed a red mushroom with white dots. "It must be poisonous," Koe thought. So she decided not to touch it. She saw another beach across the beach she was on right now. It was also littered with many flowers, and obviously Koe wanted to explore that place as well. Instead, she ignored it and continued her journey.

She ran over the paths until she ran past a lamp post and in front of her stood a very tall castle. "Another castle? This person must be very rich..." Without any hesitation, Koe dashed inside the castle. Inside the main room were gold, black, and red colored furniture almost everywhere. Very tall golden ponds were scattered around the room, but there were only six. Koe looked around the room and noticed even more paintings on the walls. Koe decided to go to the back room first.

In the back room there were tall figures of metal knights holding spears in their hands. They were standing in lines, leading down to a couch. Behind the metal knights were pillars taller than them. Behind the couch were two strange statues of turkeys and stained glass, with a phonograph next to it. There were also beds in the far back, but there was no way you could reach them.

The room on the right was full of bookcases and several trophies, along with different types of plants and tables. There were more paintings on the wall as well. "Why are there so many paintings?" Koe thought to herself. Just then, an antique clock began to ring. A new hour had begun.

The upstairs room was full of black and silver furniture, that was very soft. There was a goldfish in a plastic bag and a giant arapaima in a large tank at the top right corner of the room. Like every other room, the lights were on. Koe also noticed several instruments on the left side of the room. This time, there weren't any paintings on the wall. Instead, there were albums.

The downstairs room was full of wheat fields, with a wallpaper that looked like the night sky with many twinkling stars. It reminded Koe of when she first laid down in her bed, only to appear in a whole different world. In the middle of the room, there was a giant moon that rotated very slowly. The only thing on the wall was a golden statue holding a lit torch. Koe moved through the wheat fields, circling the replica of the Moon. "This is cool," Koe said to herself. She continued to search, but she could still find no exit.

Koe looked at the last room. The last room was on the first floor on the left. She braced herself and ran inside. Koe looked around the room and screamed. Around the room were even more paintings, and skeletons were on the floor. There were gravestones and creepy clocks everywhere. There were caskets standing up and tall statues. One statue was on a counter, and it had glowing red eyes. In the middle of the room there was a giant piano that seemed like it was guarded by tall figures of metal knights. There was a fireplace in the bottom right corner. Koe went behind the statue with glowing red eyes and saw a framed picture of a lady with long, blonde hair. She had crystal blue eyes and wore a dark green dress with a white collar. In the picture, the lady did not look satisfied. She looked like she was displeased with something, but what? Koe quickly backed out of the room without further hesitation, running out the castle. She still had to find a way to escape this strange place.

Chapter 6: The Nightmare Intensifies
Koe ran past flowers and cedar trees, running into all sorts of bushes. She ran past buildings and across the paths, and even trampling flowers as well. In one area of the town all Koe could see were trees, bushes, and white roses. She came across another house, and it was the last house that was in the land. It was surrounded by many yellow roses. "Maybe this house will take me back home!" Koe shouted in glee. She ran inside and closed the door behind her, locking it. Behind the locked door was another lady...the same lady that was in the framed picture.

Koe looked around the main room and she couldn't believe what she saw! In front of her there were two counters, the left one had a pot of blue roses on top of it and the right one had a pot of red roses on top of it. There were even more paintings on the wall, and there were many tables with objects of them. There were teddy bears and shoes, and there was a red dress in the middle of the room. There were papers on the floor and even more strange items on the ground. "What...is this place?" Koe looked around the room, shaking. Koe looked to the left room, but a giant statue with angel wings was guarding it. There was no way she could get through, but she wondered what was in there. Koe noticed most of the paintings were fake. Why were all the other paintings in the other houses real but in this house most of them were not? In the top right corner, she noticed a shadowed picture of a lady holding a red umbrella. It seemed the lady was walking and it was raining as well. Koe went to the right room first.

The right room was full of ancient statues and boundaries everywhere. There was a phonograph and a writing desk, as well as a lamp on the wall. Not only was a lamp on the wall, but almost everywhere Koe looked there pictures of a girl with long cinnamon hair wearing a red dress. "Who is this...?" Koe asked herself out loud.

Koe ran upstairs only to find paintings almost everywhere, along with two statues with angel wings. The statues looked like the statue guarding the left room. Again, most of the paintings were fake. In the back of the room, the middle was a glass container with red roses inside it. One of the pictures showed a picture of a man with gray-looking hair. The background was mostly purple and black, with a little bit of blue. Most of the statues in this room were fake as well, the same with the paintings.

Koe ran downstairs to the basement. In the basement was a wallpaper of this lady with frizzy black hair and big, red eyes. The lady was smiling, but it wasn't a good smile. Blue dolls were almost everywhere in the room, and in the back there was a glass container. Koe looked down at the floor and noticed colors of red, blue, and yellow with white as well.

The last room Koe had to explore was the back room. She gulped, preparing for whatever was in there. Maybe this was the place where she could finally get back home. She ran inside and screamed. The room was full of wooden head mannequins. Over the mannequins were white hats with two eyes on top, with blood running from the eyes. The same picture of the lady with frizzy hair was somewhere as well. There was another fake statue and a blue doll. Another picture was black with blue bloodshot eyes. There was another fake statue. Instead of angel wings, there were bat wings. Kanji was written all over the wallpaper and the floor. In the top right corner there was a giant pink teddy bear. In the middle of the room was another mannequin dressed up as the lady with blonde hair. Behind the mannequin was another picture of the same lady. The mannequin was surrounded by pots of yellow roses.

Koe quickly turned around to see the same lady standing at the entrance. When she turned around, she could see two more pictures of the girl with long cinnamon hair. The lady with blonde hair looked at Koe and grinned. "I've been waiting for you.." The lady ran towards Koe. Koe quickly jumped over one of the wooden mannequin heads and ran out with the lady following her. She ran through the items scattered across the floor and tripped over some shoes. She hit the floor on her knee and cried silently. Koe turned around and the lady with blonde hair was behind her. The lady grabbed Koe's leg and dragged her back into the back room. Koe tried to break out of the lady's grip, but it was too late. She screamed for help, but no one was there to help her...

Chapter 7: Home Sweet Home
"Mayor! Mayor! Mayor, are you awake?" Koe woke up and looked around. She was back in her regular bedroom. There were no statues or paintings or numbers, nothing! She was back in her regular home. A lady with short blonde hair named Isabelle looked at Koe. "You were asleep for such a long time, I was starting to get worried..." Koe watched Isabelle and gasped. She hopped out of bed and looked around. "I'm home! There are no more paintings, or statues, or...the lady with long blonde hair! "What are you talking about, mayor?" Isabelle questioned Koe. Koe looked at Isabelle and smiled. "Come to the event plaza and bring all the residents. I'm about to tell you a wonderful story."

All the residents at at the event plaza along with Isabelle. Koe sat on right in front of a very tall tree. Everyone of the residents were smiling, watching.

"It was a silent, calm night in the land of Okane..."

Here's the reference!
Koe is my own character, and Okane is the name of my own town (at least used to be). I decided to make a story about my previous character exploring the Town of Paintings and add her own emotions. I added some of the feelings I experienced (except for the screaming), and it turned out great. Thanks for reading, lovelies!
