I think that was a general statement because of multiple examples
My comment and request still stand. Where are these examples you are talking about? And given these examples, how do those few people who made the post represent over 200 million people, and to add onto that, the thousands of people who have liked and/or reblogged it. I mean, I can make a general statement that most, if not all of the people on 4chan are offensive jerks who set people to fail from using "examples", such as Grim has provided. But would that be accurate? No, it's very ignorant to say that. Don' generalize people, especially groups based on assumptions of those who are louder than others. It makes you look like an idiot.

If hundreds of thousands of people are gullible, it's a pretty large group for deciding that. I'm talking things like the "we don't say ______ we say _______ which means _______" or something Whereas probably a few hundred out of millions do some bad things in one section and they're bad. Either way, I'm done here. I'm not going to argue this.

Lets do some percentages. Yay, math.
couple thousand, why not 120,000 people? Some text posts range from that.
120k over 206.4 million = x over 100. 12000000 = 206.4 million x. .0581% = x.
So foops, are you saying that .06% represents a group of people?
The highest text post i've seen is over 3 million. Lets do that one!!
3.4 million over 206.4 million = x over 100.
340,000,000 = 206.4 million x.
1.6472% = x.
Maybe .06% was too small for you, now, 1.65% is where it's at! That is the percentage of a group you should have represent Tumblr and give the comments as, "most of Tumblr is sensitive, and plenty can be uninformed."
Who cares about Statistics 101? 1.6% is the new 78%!!!!!!!!!1

Alright, then let's do some mooore stats. 19,212 out of ~8.2 million unique visitors every month signed a petition to label all users of Tumblr a rude name. (stupid petition, but it's got some attention) That's 0.00002342926 of all of 4Chan. Significantly less than 1% of users, by these statistics are nasty people. Maybe we're both generalizing, here, eh?

I don't recall that I've ever generalized the people of 4chan.
