I write books, too. I have two books in the making.

haha we're doin poetry in school now. heres one...
there are many season in a year
with death and life and heat and cold
but there are two which i hold dear
spring and winter with stories untold
that's all ive gotten to but its gonna be a sonnet. ive also started a ballad, bout osmeone dying...

Damn now I wish so badly that I would write poetry

I write books, but I've always wanted to write poems. My books are really good, and I've written 'stories' since I was in 1st or 2nd grade, although back then they really, really sucked. Lol. But now I do quite well, and I'm working on my most recent book about a young teenage girl and boy born with special powers.. yeah, the usual crap. But hey, maybe I can make some cash! Haha I'm hoping to publish this one! And now to come up with a poem off the top of my head.

Shadows fall when the sun disappears
The human's eyes fill with tears
As they watch their city burn and their families bodies fade
The children learn how life can be frayed
They grow up with hardships many can't bear
And show others how the shadows dare
To ruin the lives of those innocents
That were only trying to live life to it's best

Wow. That sucked. xD But c'mon, I just now thought it up!

the only thing that didnt work was the last two lines...they didnt rhyme like the others....but apart from that it was actually pretty good
