The Town of Paintings: Part 1
Chapter 1: A Calm Night
It was a silent, calm night in the land of Okane. All of the stores were closed, and all the resident's homes had no light on. The only thing that could be shown was the shadows of objects, the twinkling stars, and a bright full moon. Not a single sound was heard. However, a girl with short blonde hair named Koe stood up all night. She had crystal blue eyes, wore a gray torn dress, and was barefoot. "It's getting late...I should probably get some sleep." Koe said. She was afraid of all those monsters lurking out there, and she never knew what could happen to her. So Koe laid in bed and laid her head against the soft white pillow. She threw the soft blankets over her and slowly drifted off to sleep, peacefully.

Chapter 2: A Dream Come True
By the time Koe had woken up, she was no longer in her house or in her room. She had only awoken to see herself laying on a completely white couch. Koe quickly jumped off of the couch and looked around, frightened. "This...this isn't my home.." Two spaces in front of the couch was a bass, violin, cello, and a viola arranged in a square. There were two other white couches on the side of the instruments. Around the room were numbers from 0 to 9, but they were all lamps lit up. Koe squinted her eyes as the light flashed in her eyes, walking inside the left room on the first floor.

The left room on the first floor had light pink, baby blue, white, and even golden colors almost everywhere. There were chairs and sofas, lamps, and very few plants. There was a bed on the right side of the room. Could someone have lived here? Koe looked to the bottom left corner and found a harp, but that's not all she found. She found a giant white piano in the middle of the room with a white chair behind it. Although Koe was curious, she was afraid to touch it. She was in a different world and she never knew what could happen. Behind the giant piano, on the left was a couch with two chairs on its side. Two other chairs were on the floor, diagonally from the chairs next to the sofa. "Pretty..." Koe thought to herself. Then she had walked off and headed to the right room.

The right room was full of pictures of residents the owner of the house must have known. There were tables and chairs, along with dressers. Every where Koe walked, there was at least one picture in front her. Then, she saw a harpsichord. She was too afraid to touch it. After all, she didn't know what traps this place could hold. There was another bed in the room, and it was very careful. "Someone must be living here," Koe thought to herself again. All these thoughts in her head just had her thinking. She then noticed a camera on the table and grabbed onto it, accidently taking a picture. Koe screamed and sprinted out the room quickly.

It felt like Koe was blind. She ran behind the sofa she had woke up on and went into a different room. When she ran inside, her vision was finally clear. All around Koe were regal like furniture with tables, sofas, lamps, vanities, and even a piano along with a clock. There was another bed, so it was clear; someone must be living here. Koe walked over to the piano and looked to the left of it, only to find a letter laying on the floor. "What could this be?" Koe questioned herself. She picked the letter up and ran out the room.

All that was left to explore was upstairs and downstairs. Koe blamed herself on her curiosity. Although she was tempted to get back to Okane, she wanted to explore this strange place even more. However, she knew she would regret it at the end. She went with her gut instinct and decided to go downstairs first. Downstairs was a classroom like room with desks and chairs. On several of the desks there was an item on top of it. Koe noticed three mannequins in the room. One was dressed as a school girl with a uniform, the other was dressed up as a police officer, and the other was probably the teacher. She noticed an axe that was on one of the desks. "An....axe? Why?" Koe thought to herself. The thoughts of what happened made her shiver. She then walked upstairs to the main room. All that was left was the upstairs room.

Koe braced herself for anything that would ambush her as she ran upstairs. Upstairs was terrifying to her; there were these strange looking robots in different colors. Spotlights were shining everywhere and rock music played everywhere. She screamed and ran downstairs, tripping over a step and falling down. Koe had bruised her knee badly. She looked up and saw four counters with number lamps on them. On the left side of the main room, the two numbers on the counters said "07". On the other side the numbers said "22". "What could this mean?" Koe then realized this was the time where she could finally escape! "This is it! This is the way back home where I belong!" Koe ran out...only to see a different world in front of her eyes.

Chapter 3: A Different World
"Oh no...no, no, no! This isn't supposed to happen! I'm supposed to be back in my own house!" Koe panicked. She turned around and looked up, noticing that the house she was in was a castle. "A CASTLE!" Koe shouted. However, there was no time to waste. She ran around this strange land, dashing through trees and bushes and following the stone paths. As she continued to walk, she later got hungry. Koe desperately looked for something to eat, but she could not find any fruit trees. She dashed through bushes, white lilies and tall cedar trees. Just then, she suddenly stumbled up to a wide and tall house with a red roof. She could smell food inside, so Koe ran into the house. It was another adventure for her...

Inside the main room of the house was a café themed room. It had fancy tables and chairs, along with a kitchen on the right side. A jukebox was between a chair and a couch, playing a song that felt like it came from a music box. Koe looked to her right and saw a menu that listed coffee, tea, and cake. She stared at all the delicious treats and desserts on the tables, and was tempted to eat. No one lived here, after all, so Koe went ahead and ate some of the sweets. Once she was done, she laid down on a couch for a while. She also decided to explore this house. Maybe she would find a way to get out in here. Koe hopped off the couch and went to the room on the left.

In this room, Koe found red and black almost everywhere. It played some sort of Chinese music, and there were Chinese soups and food as well. The smell of the soup reminded her of when her mother always used to make soup for dinner. If only she could see her again. Once Koe looked towards the cash register, she saw another mannequin standing behind it. This mannequin was dressed up in a funky wig, with some gray shades and a red jacket. He was also wearing red pants and shoes. "This food will eventually rot," Koe thought to herself seeing how no one lived here.

When Koe walked into the right room, it looked like an office with many computers and modern stuff. Most of the stuff was black and white, but barely anything was a different color. The room also contained about only two plants. Koe looked over to the TV and apparently, it was on. Why would the person leave the house and still keep the TV on? The thought got her thinking. They had even left on the lamp too, so Koe decided to turn off the lamp and the TV.

Chapter 4: Something Strange is Going On
Once Koe went into the back room, it looked like a church. In the back of the room, stood a priest behind a counter. The priest wasn't real, but it was another mannequin dressed up in black and white clothing. There was a church organ in the top left corner of the room, and many white lilies and pillars were on the sides. In the middle were wooden benches to sit on. This reminded Koe of the church she and her mother used to go here. However, she thought something else. Why would the owner of this house make a room as if it they were in church?

The upstairs room was full of wooden items such as chairs, tables, counters. Almost everything in the room was made out of wood! There were also some fruit baskets on some tables. Some teddy bears were scattered around the room, and there were also two beds. One bed was perfectly clean, but the other's cover was half-way off and the pillow was not where it should be. Koe noticed that in the top right corner, there was a black doll hidden between a chair and a counter, and was also behind one of the wooden tables. She looked around and noticed several paintings on the walls. They all appeared to be real.

The last room Koe had to explore was the basement downstairs. There were four blue chairs and a reception counter as well. There were two lamps lit up shaped like lotus flowers, and there was a table with a candle on top. Behind the table and lamps were two counters with black and white lilies on them. Behind the two counters was a picture of a raccoon in gray and white. "Could it have been the owner's pet?" Koe questioned herself. She ignored all her questions and looked for an exit. Once Koe had found the exit, she noticed that this house couldn't let her return to Okane.

I liked it, you should continue it and post your own series. :3

To formally bring this back because can,

Animal Crossing was literally my childhood. I would play that for hours to come and I loved it with all my heart. I would spend so much time writting letters to specific people and becoming friends with them, then telling my teachers or dad about how cool and awesome they were. I still play it now, omfg.

And when the DS version came out? The first DS version, not the recent one, I WAS EXCITED YOU COULD HAVE A BANK OMG

god AC was the shit. I mean pokemon yeah, but Animal Crossing is unexplainably better, I don't know how or why, I just feel it, you know?
