Try drizzling it over seperate slices, like spread, then leave it to set.
Tastes great.
Mind, at our age and wealth we couldn't afford more chocolate!

~~~~Toffee/Chocolate apples~~~
Mmmmm, yummy. And not difficult!
You'll need:
6-8 big apples!
2 saucepans, a glass bowl, wooden spoon, clear jug, lollysticks/wooden skewers
225g Demerara sugar - only demerara works!
100ml or so of water, little bit over it is ok.
Half a teaspoon of vinegar - trust me, it's meant to be in there.
2 tablespoons of golden syrup - hehehe, tate and lyle please.
25g butter - salted or unsalted works I think.
2 bars of chocolate - you'll have some left over to eat ;D
a bowl of hundreds and thousands.
1. Take the saucepan and dissolve the sugar over a middle heat on the hob. While you're doing that, skewer the apples. Then once all the sugar has been dissolved, add the vinegar, syrup and butter.
2.Wait till it boils. NO MORE STIRRING FROM NOW ON! It should take about 10 minutes for it to reach hard-crack stage (140C) , or, for those without sugar thermometers, get your jug and fill it with cold water. When you drop some of the mixture in, it should form and harden into a ball.
3. Dip your apples carefully into the mix, twisting so it's completely coated. If you're going to eat them fresh, put them on an oiled baking tray. if you're keeping them for a few days, wrap in cellophane plastic stuff.
If you're doing chocolate:
1. Take the saucepan and fill with water. Put it on a medium heat and put the glass bowl over the top. Put the chocolate in the bowl and wait for it to melt, mixing until it's smooth.
2. Simply dip the apples in, cover it all over then dip the top in a bowl of sprinkles.
3. Put on a tray if you are eating them soon, or in wrapping if you aren't, like before.
Variations:
Pop food colouring in the toffee mix with the vingear and other ingredients, hehe. Gives you a funny coloured tongue!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'll begin posting again now!

~~ Cheesy bonfire bread ~~

Ingredients

200g wholemeal flour - wholemeal is right, it really makes it taste better - plain flour itself makes it taste doughey and yucky.
200g plain flour , plus extra for dusting
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
2 teaspoon cream of tartar - it's a raising agent, comes in a pot, you'll get it in the home baking aisle. In walmart or something :P
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon caster sugar
25g butter , melted
300ml milk , at room temperature
175g cheddar , coarsely grated
3 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
85g ready-roasted peppers from a jar, drained and chopped

1. Turn the oven on to 190C, or gas 5, or for fan ovens 170C. Put all the dry ingredients into a bowl and make a hole in the middle, like a well. Mix the butter and milk together, then pour it into the well you made. Mix it until it's a dough.
2. Get a chopping board/surface and dust it with flour. Pop the dough down and mix in the peppers, pumpkin seeds and 3/4 of the cheddar.
3. Divide it into 8 sections, and shape them into long shapes that are about as thick as putting 3 fingers together, and as long as the length of 2 fingers.
4. Put them on a floured baking sheet, and sprinkle the rest of the cheddar over the top. Bake for about half an hour, until the cheese is all bubbly.

DONE!
