Ty's big mess-up of the week story
okay so you guys might know that my hugest mistake ever was taking drama #introvert
i have the most awkward relationship with my teacher though because of my lack of self-confidence and the fact that the stagelights make my eye issues worse if it's acting up
so we're in the drama studio, using a shadow screen with this projector.
there's a surprising lack of sockets in the studio, so there's an extension cord with this projector plugged into it, the main board projector, and the computer, with the music playing for the other group's work.
we decide to move on from this and begin working on another scene completely separate from the screen.
the projector's really bright though, and the remote's off switch won't work (and the boys pick up the remote anyway pssh) so i turn it off at the wall switch.
do you see what i have now done?
i have switched off all of the important equipment in the room.
the music is essential to the other group, and i think miss was waiting for an email, probably re the actual drama examination the following day.
she comes back and starts panicking, but i haven't yet realised what i did, and am really confused as to what has happened to the computer and projector. we think it's a power cut first, but the stagelights are still on. Oh. Yeah. I switched it off. I switch it back on like "ohhh this is why" and she turns it off properly with the remote, wondering why i didn't use the remote in the first place.
embarrassed, i lie, saying they always had it and i didn't realise. the computer takes forever to power up and the other group have to live with it and i feel guilty especially because my friend keeps giving me dirty looks (he's in my group though its k)
that's the time i nearly destroyed a percentage of the drama department
thanks for reading, have a nice day and be careful before you press switches
