We are the Dead. Short days ago we were eaten.
We bled, felt pot, saw oven,
Loved and were yummy, and now we lie
In Slaughter fields.

Show our wattles with the foe:
To you from failing feathers we throw
The stuffing; be yours to stuff it full.
If you are not yummy like us who die
We shall not be eaten, though Turkeys roam.

and its feeling uncomfortably hot
