Time and time goes by.
I keep thinking about you day and night.
I never stop thinking about your smile so sly,
Your motives so cold yet full of confidence they are bright.

No matter what happens you don't care,
About what happens to others', their despair.
It is only about you, you, you.
And your motives, only good to you, but to others, like a violent volcano they spew.

You and I fight and hide,
But nothing in this world can save you or me.
I don't care how many people you have on your side,
It is survival to the finish and I will win, you will see.

Here I sit

So i found this one noted somewhere in a book of mine,can't recall if i wrote it (highly doubt,i can't write a poem,they always fail) but anyways. Enjoy

Every morning I lie there innocently sleeping
When the peace is ruptured by a horrible beeping.
My serenity ripped asunder, sudden and drastic
By this evil, demonic, red-eyed piece of plastic.

I roll over in pain and pound on the snooze,
Groaning, moaning, thinking 'What's there to lose?'
'Don't make me get up, just nine minutes more.'
The same thing I've said every morning before.

It's not that I hate mornings or dread the new day.
It's just that I loathe waking up in this way.
I'd much rather simply rise up with the light,
Glowing in the window, chasing away the night.

But the sudden screaming, the incessant fuss,
Makes me want to yell and cry and simply to cuss.
Especially the knowledge that all of my sorrow
Will be repeated the same time, same way, tomorrow.

Hey! Can someone do me a favor? We are writing newspaper thingies in our Journalism class, I however have no creation in the arts of poetry, and my assignment is to write a Valentines poem. Can someone help me out here? Lmao.
The poem doesn't have to be really long (but not to short either) and it's for children anywhere from 1st to 4th grade I guess, (So keep it PG) Plz and Thanks.
