Global climate change is displacing millions of people due to flooding. It is destroying our coral reefs, and will eventually begin making life for other marine animals impossible because they can no longer absorb calcium for their bones and shells. The fisheries will collapse.
Dramatic changes in temperature and precipitation means more natural disasters/more extreme ones. More droughts, more typhoons like the one that wrecked the Philippines. More heat waves like the one in Europe in 2003 that caused 13 billion dollar losses in agriculture.
Global Climate change is harming the economy and killing us; I think that's adequate reason to worry.
