what is it? Do you remember anything? How old were you?
I have three distinct flashes
1. eating a bowl of rice soup in a dark room, watching tv and my mum telling me to eat around the edges where it is cooler
2. holding a couple of baby chickens in the backyard and squeezing them so tight that they get all mashed up
3. being pissed that my old cat did not like water and trying to force it into a bucket of water.
I guess I was around 2 years old max

Standing in the garage and waving to my brothers and mom as they went off to school before my dad took me to the babysitter; sitting and watching TV and shaking the loose stuff from every single Mini Wheat into my cereal bowl and then wondering what I was gonna do with all those little wheat pieces because I decided I did not want to eat them; watching our trash go up in flames and throwing little pieces of trash into the fire to watch it burn; having a small, white room, with just a crib, a bookcase full of Barbies, and a closet I was afraid of because it was dark and it had no light and there was something weird shaped in the back that I was too afraid to find out what it was (turned out to be a big stuffed dog). These are all memories from the house I used to live in that was out in the country. We moved into town when I was five.

i dont really remember much from my childhood, but one of the main memories i remember is crashing my stepdads car when i was 3-4, our driveway at our old house was a slope, and at the top was a large pile of sand that i would usually play in, and so on one day, i wanted to play in the sand, but the car was parked over it, so i got into the car and disabled the handbrake, the car then rolled down the driveway, across the street and into the neighbours fence, i remember i got a big smack after it :c

Standing under the door frame between the garage and the house, watching my dad change the snow tires. I was three.

Memory is what you remember. He's asking what you first remember, which would therefore be your first memory. So. If you don't remember it it's not a memory.

It was once a memory,so it counts.
