Competition prize ideas

Postby Dr Frook » 04 Dec 2014, 20:46

I'm trying to think up some competition prize ideas. Something that will get peeps involved and not blah about it.

how does this sound.

Base prize for next competition $100 (paid via paypal)
and for every entry in the competition, another $2 is added to the prize money.

would that get peeps playing?

Let's do another awesome pet contest. Peeps post pics of their pets and we vote. That sounds fun

I'm reminded that I should be getting over it.

I honestly think the monetary amount is way too much. If money is something to be used in a competition, and if done in the same way as the last couple of competitions, I would suggest having top three with $20, $10, and $5 respectively. It would give more opportunities for winners instead of having people rage about having a sole winner on a large prize.
I've lost my pieces.
