Okay so most of you have seen Homer's The Odyssey (or the Epic, as Toady said it was known as) so if you remember it, and have read it or watched it, post what you remember of it.

Scylla and Charybdis scared me.

Well, an epic is a type of work. Not that it's known as "The Epic". I said "The Odyssey the Epic" because it's a classification of works and helped me figure out what you were talking about.

Also, I remember Odysseus having a lot of hubris. I read this in 9th grade (part of it) and loved it. However, doing so much between then and now has made me forget most of it.

The movie was cheesy. I will say that.

I remember that his wife had suitors and that his bed sat on a tree stump or something lol

Yeah and something about shooting an arrow through a ring to win her hand or something? I mean, I know the synopsis too, but everyone knows that so I won't post it here.

I liked it when the cyclops wanted to pet the rabbits
