Which would you want to be? A Zombie with lots of allies, eating skin and rotting away, or be a part of the army and fight for you life everyday? I'd rather fight for my life.

really depends. Maybe as a zombie you are really happy and your brain does not recognise how horrible your current condition is. You may very well experience complete and utter bliss as a zombie. If this is the case, I'd be a zombie any day. Much better than feeling fear and fighting for my life, knowing I could be ripped apart at any moment.
