Hangnails

Ok I know this is extremely, extremely, extremely random and strange, but cmon, you guys should know me by now!

How do you get rid of a hangnail? I had one today, and I tried chewing it off, and ended up with blood seeping out all over my finger.... lol I should have a thing on this topic that says 'viewer discretion is advised' xD

Anyway, do you chew it off, pull it off, cut it off, burn it off (which would be weird.. but I would do it!! hahaha), shoot it off (oh.. this is weirder.. BUT I WOULD DO THIS TOO!), poison it, give it frostbite.. there are many ways to remove a hangnail

I rip it off, quiick, just a bit of pain and a little blood.

Easy as pie. Might take a few tries. But when a hangnail is gone, the toe DOES bleed.

ha! I did that once.. and it didn't stop bleeding for like 1 hour. Hurt like a son of a.. Orb..

I just use my teeth and bite it off.

you have to be careful what direction to pull it off. If you pull it up the way it will tear up further. If you manage to do it the other direction it might work.


I'd use nail scissors and carefully cut it off as close to the base as possible.

That's what my dad says to do, but I always end up chewing 'em off anyway =P

When you're clipping your nails or something, the nail gets stuck half-clipped/bitten and it hurts liek hell.

So you have to clip it. :/

Or when you have a little piece of skin/nail sticking out of the crack where your fingernail meets your finger, and you have to pull it out cuz it's annoying.
