You'd be surprised by what you're saying there...

Hundreds of thousands, even millions of books, plays and films have been directly influenced by Romeo and Juliet. Such as Twilight, Noughts and Crosses series, West Side Story, even Titanic was influenced by it - right up to Avatar.

If you learn some Old English, you'd see what an amazing tragedy it really is...it is the best love tragedy ever written, in my opinion.

I can almost bet that you like at least one movie, film or book heavily based on the star cross'd lovers theme.

True, and Avatar was an okay movie, but the others I believe I have either not seen, are just okay movies (like Titanic), or I hate with a passion (like Twilight D:<) So yeahh...

but I'm sure there are some that I like, but that would be because even though they are INFLUENCED by Romeo and Juliet, they are not JUST LIKE Romeo and Juliet, which I hate. They are much much BETTER.

I'm reminded that I should be getting over it.

Which is why i very much dislike most modern day stories.
They are all about the same thing "Love"
& this is why i have turned from Romance, To Horror. ;)

You dislike it because you're Emo.

You therefore are not allowed to like anything mainstream.

Mind, pretty ironic with some of the things you and nexus get up to on chat..
