The Clans. Chapter II PLEASE READ!

Chapter 2
Deadfire unsheathed his claws, but then sheathed them. Deadfire started to growl, and Oakpaw, not sure what to do, dd the same thing. Brackenleg looked a little shock, but not scared of the tom. Deadfire sheathed his claws, learning the intruder was TreeClan cats.“ Brackenleg, what brings you to RockClan, especially to the Cave of Rock?” Deadfire seemed calm to the visitors. These are cats from another clan! Why is Deadfire being so nice to them? “Oakpaw, this is the deputy of TreeClan. We are allies to them. In matter of fact, Brackenleg used to be a warrior of RockClan, but then left us. Found that trees were better than rocks, right Brackenleg?” Deadfire said. Deadfire sounded a little harsh in the last thing he said. Brackenleg ignored Deadfire. “I want to talk to Rockstar. It's important matters that is between me and Rockstar,” Brackenleg said. “Wouldn't Treestar come herself to talk to Rockstar?” Deafire hissed. “Because, she is not with us today, or tomorrow, or the next day. She has died. She passed away today,” Brackenleg said. Deadfire's eyes flashed with sorrow. He grew calmer, and dipped his head to Brackenleg. “I'm sorry. Follow me,” Deadfire meowed, and walked on the path that Deafire and Oakpaw took to get here.
Oakpaw started to walk by Brackenleg. “So, um, are the new leader of TreeClan?” Oakpaw asked. “Yes, I am. Who are you?” Brackenleg asked. “My name's Oakpaw. So, is your named changed, or is it the same?” Oakpaw asked Brackenleg. “My name is change. It's now Brackenstar. Wait, don't you know this?” Brackenstar said. “Um, no. I just started training. My dad's Stoneclaw,” Oakpaw blurted out. “Really? Well, I was Stoneclaw's best friend. Tell me, who's your mother?” Brackenstar asked. “She's Squirrelfur!” Oakpaw said. “Well, I knew that would happen. Those two were made for each other. It's nice to see that they got together. Oakpaw, do you have a brother? Or a sister? Both?” Brackenleg asked. It was like that he wanted to know everything about him. “I have a brother, named Snakepaw,” Oakpaw answered. “Oakpaw! Stop talking to them! Go in behind of them, to make sure that TreeClan cats don't wander off in our territory. You can get lost very quickly in the rocky land we own.” Deafire ordered. “Good-bye, my friend,” Brackenstar whispered to Oakpaw. Oakpaw just nodded back to the TreeClan leader. He fell behind a cat with dark red fur. “Um, excuse me?” Oakpaw said to the red tom. “What is it?” I'll ask him if he can tell me who the new clan deputy is. “Do you know who's the new deputy?” Oakpaw asked. The red tom was silent for moments, thinking. He glanced back, and his green eyes flashed. “Why yes, I will. You are looking at him. Me, Wildfire.” The tom said. “Oh, okay. Thank you,” Oakpaw replied.
My legs are so tired! Are we there yet? Oakpaw peered ahead, and saw the camp's entrance. Dawnflower was on guard. “Hey, Brackenleg! Nice to see you? How's Treestar?” Dawnflower asked. A ginger she-cat spoke. Probably talking for Brackenstar. “Well, Treestar died, so Brackenleg took over,” The she-cat said. “Oh, Brackenstar, I'm so sorry. Well, congrats on being a clan leader! You have a new job- new responsibility! You're on of the four cats in the forest, that are very powerful!” Dawnflower meowed, trying to cheer up Brackenstar. Deadfire grunted. Dawnflower just glared at him. “Thank you Dawnflower. May I please talk with Rockstar? I must talk with him,” Brackenstar asked. “Why certainty Right this way. Oakpaw!” Dawnflower meowed to Oakpaw. “Hmm? Yes?” Oakpaw asked. “Fetch Brackenstar and his friends some food,” Dawnflower ordered. The TreeClan cats followed Deadfire and Dawnflower in the camp.
“Brackenleg!” a voice shrieked Oakpaw looked and saw Squirrelfur running to Brackenstar. Brackenstar smiled. “Hey Squirrelfur! I missed you so much!” Brackenstar said. “Were you guys mates or something?” Oakpaw asked. Oakpaw was completely confused. Had Brackenstar been my mom's first mate, or something? Squirrelfur shot a glare at her son “No! He's my brother! I thought I told you this,” Squirrelfur said. Then his mother looked at Brackenstar. So, will I be related to two clan leaders? I wonder if this might tie RockClan and TreeClan closer. This is coming at me too soon. I just wanna lay in bed, and think about this. “So, what's new?” Squirrelfur asked. Brackenstar grew silent. Then Wildfire stepped forward. “Treestar died. Brackenstar is the new leader of TreeClan. I became TreeClan deputy,” Wildfire blurted out. Squirrelfur's face was full of joy. “Oh, StarClan! That's great!” Squirrelfur pressed her face in her brother's fur. Brackenstar pulled away. “
No! It's not okay! Treestar's gone! It feels so wrong, without her! I wasn't ready, to lose her, and to lead a clan. It's hard to explain, the relationship between a leader and a deputy. But, my clan needs, me, so I must speak with Rockstar about somethings.” Brackenstar said. A old voice rasped. “Oh, Brackenstar, honey. Life comes and goes. We are cats, who don't live forever. We must face the fact that every cats die at some point in their life, and one cat dies, we must go on, not grieve for that cat. You will get distracted, and stressed, and it will hurt you to think about it. But it's your duty to take care of a clan, multiple cats need you, and what they don't need is you grieving, wasting your life in the past, when you should be focusing in the present. Sweety, life goes on, it really does,” Creekwing, the wise small medicine cat came to the conversation. “Creekwing, I know, but it's hard-” “Honey, stop complaining. Look around you! There are cats who will go through the same thing that you are going through. How do you think Stoneclaw will feel when Rockstar dies? When I die, what about Nighttail. What do you think he will do when, I die? Sweety, I'm getting old, just like Treestar did, and now Rockstar. You must face the facts, and live your life,” Creekwing meowed. Brackenstar nodded, and fell silent. “Brackenstar, you want to talk with me?” Rockstar old voice meowed while walking to the cats. The old bony brown tom pulled his old body over to the cats. Brackenstar nodded. “Well then, come in my den. Bring your deputy to. Brackenstar flicked his tail, and Wildfire followed.
“Um, little one? Can I have some food please? I'm hungry,” the ginger she-cat asked Oakpaw. “Yes, let me go get some,” Oakpaw replied. “Can I help?” Oakpaw turned around and saw Applepaw standing there. “Yeah, sure,” Oakpaw said. Then the two cats walked side by side, to the Fresh Kill pile. Oakpaw looked at the apprentice's den, and saw Tigerpaw, glaring at Oakpaw. “Um, Applepaw? Why's Tigerpaw staring at me?” Oakpaw asked. “Because, he's just jealous! He doesn't like it that I like you,” Applepaw replied. “You what!?!” Oakpaw said in astonishment. “Yeah silly! I like you!” Applepaw said, and dug her muzzle in Oakpaw's pelt. Oakpaw grew embarrassed Soon, the cats got to the Fresh Kill pile. They both grabbed as much food as they could, and walked to the other TreeClan cats. “Thank-you sweety,” the ginger she-cat meowed. “Sunflower, stop being so nice. It's sick!” A brown tom meowed. “Why shouldn't I, Leafstorm? We are allies to them. It's good to be friends to your allies!” Sunflower growled. Then a dapple golden she-cat came forward. “Stop bickering! You sound like two squirrels fighting over a seed!” the she-cat hissed. “Fine, Mothwhisker,” Leafstorm grumbled. Then Mothwhisker smiled at Oakpaw. “They never get along,”the she-cat said.
Oakpaw sat with Applepaw, eating a rabbit together. It was getting late. The sun was almost going down. Rockstar, Brackenstar, Wildfire, and Stoneclaw were still talking. It must be important, if they're talking this long. Oakpaw just sat there, looking at the sun. “It's a beautiful sight, isn't it?” Applepaw said. She snugged closer yo Oakpaw. I don't really mind Applepaw. She is nice. I wonder how Tigerpaw feels. He always freaks me out. “It is beautiful, I guess,” Oakpaw replied. Then Brackenstar and Wildfire came out of the leader's den, with Rockstar and Stoneclaw following. “Good-bye, Brackenstar! Wildfire! May StarClan light your path!” Rockstar yowled as Brackenstar and Wildfire walked away. When Brackenstar arrived near Oakpaw, he said, “I will see you again, my friend,” and the new TreeClan leader, walked out of the clan camp, with Wildfire, Leafstorm, Sunflower, and Mothwhisker following. The walls of the camp shook with the visitors bursting out of the camp. Stoneclaw approached Oakpaw. Is he really my uncle?” Oakpaw asked. Stoneclaw's eyes flashed in amusement, and nodded. “He's a good friend too. He picked Wildfire for a deputy. That cat's smart. Wildfire is a tough cat, but has much wisdom,” Stoneclaw said. “Dad, you make me confused sometimes. I don't really know what you're saying. All this, wisdom stuff, and toughness. Bye, I'm going to bed. Goodnight,” Oakpaw said to his father, and padded to the apprentice's den. Oakpaw could hear his father laugh. Applepaw followed Oakpaw. As Oakpaw entered in the den, Tigerpaw was there, staring at him.
“What do you want?” Oakpaw asked the striped apprentice. “Nothing that concerns you,” Tigerpaw growled. “Oh, Tigerpaw! Stop picking fights. Get over what you're so mad about.,” Applepaw said, as she layed down. Oakpaw layed in his den too. “I really don't get this stuff Tigerpaw. All that concerns me is, that me and Applepaw are friends,” Oakpaw said to Tigerpaw. “See! He doesn't even know why you like him, and he doesn't like you back!” Tigerpaw complained. “Shut up you furball! I know he likes me,” Applepaw said, and fell asleep. Tigerpaw glared at Oakpaw. Oakpaw glared back, and fell asleep.

dude, you can't speak for them. i've asked my friends to read this, and they said that they liked it, bu their gonna leave a post later. why are you even wasting your time on here, hating? the reason why Deadfire sheathedd his claws, then unsheathed them over and over, becuase he was FLEXING his claws, to get ready for an attack. duh!!! i've seen cats do that,
