Chivalry vs. Equality

Postby mmm » 02 Jun 2011, 17:05

Opening a door, picking up something she dropped, slapping each other with gloves; I'm sure us guys have done all of these things on account of a girl. Some girls like being treated chivalrously, some like being treated equally. But the ones I worry about are the ones who always want to be treated the opposite of however you're treating them. Similar experiences anyone?

I say get the chick to pay for everything, she can open her own door and definitely get her to do the glove slapping.

of course you may end up alone with no one to love you, but hey...

in all seriousness, it's a matter of balance - treat the girl as you would like to be treated yourself. Show respect and do what feels right for the moment.

i've been raised to always be a gentleman - i open the doors, help out of the car, im helping with the jacket and the chair in a restaurant and of course i pay for that restaurant too IF i ask for a date.

once a girl said that i'm a given away man and last of my kind on this world ...

i think you have to treat a woman with respect and honor and you have to pull down the moon for her if you love her aslong as you don't hurt yourself with that

but who knows i'm just a dreamer
