What it feels like to black out...

Postby XxFaithxX » 22 Aug 2011, 12:08

It feels weird - like you've just blinked, and suddenly civilisation has excelled!

Basically,I was sitting on my bed and my baby sister accidently punched my mouth (I have no idea how that was an accident), and I covered my mouth because it HURT SO BAD and then I think I just blacked out

I woke up lying in my bed with I had a wet cloth on my forehead, and I didn't understand what had happened.

All I remember is my mouth hurt and I blinked, lol :P

Fainting and being anaesthetised is sort of the same feeling...

Anyways, I went to A&E at 3:00 in the morning last Wednesday and there were soooo many doctors there, some really really really *sigh* niiiiiice doctors ;)
One of them looked like that guy from Devil Wears Prada. He was called Nate, I think....Anyways, I wished he'd come check me out :P
If life hands you lemons, throw them back and demand cookies! >:-D

I slept 30 hours sleeping once.... O_o
But I don't think it counts as a black out.

thats..not...blacking out blacking out is when you have your eyes open and your visions starts to go black and your hearing starts to dim down and goes away.
I was stopped from blacking out cus someone but a strong odor under my nose like alchol but far worse because it burnt my nose.
I've lost my pieces.

No and Yes.
No, is that when you are knocked out, it's when a lot of force hits one vital area,(not enough to kill you) and it makes you uncosious.
Yes, is that when it happens, you do "black out". The difference is HOW it happens.

"Knock-out" is sometimes used when someone gets hit in the head (or anywhere else, but less commonly), but people also use it for being under general anesthetic or blacking out. I think that fainting is similar to blacking-out, but without the total loss of awareness.

This is all just a matter of word choice, though.
