Wesley
Came from the place-name Westley.
From Old English: "Dweller near the western wood or clearing"
Variations (thought these were funny): Wesly, Westly, Wezley

Cool Wesleys: Wesley Crusher from Star Trek, Wesley "Wes" Anderson, film director, best-known for Fantastic Mr. Fox and Rushmore, Wesley "Wes" Craven, film director, best-known for A Nightmare on Elm Street and the Scream series, Wesley Snipes, actor in many action movies like Blade.

Ranked #159 last year. Better than other years, it ranked in the 200s and 300s not too long ago. I enjoy having a unique name, although everyone saying "Farm boy, fetch me a pail of water" gets a mite annoying :P
