fyi just because you "choose wisely" not to do it doesnt make you some better person. also marijuana when consumed through the mouth in various forms (hash butter on toast, hash brownies etc) is actually more beneficial than it is harmful. i have chronic migraines (no pun intended) and i've had them since i was little. i figured out through experimentation that while it takes curretn migraine meds 3 to 4 DAYS to work Cannibis works in under 30 min. and after ingesting it i dont have another migraine for almost two months. Care to tell me why this drug wa made illegal in the first place? oh yeah, paranoid people in congress who wanted a reason to discriminate on people of color. Marijuana is a drug that never should have been illegal in the first place. It doesnt impair judgement in the same way alcohol does, it isnt addictive on the same level as tobacco is, and there are many ways to safely ingest it with little to no bodily harm. HOWEVER, i dont wat it legelaized so tha the very same tobacco comapnies we know and love will turn it into the next tobacco and the governments of the western world will tax the heck out of it. Medicinal Marijuana, yeah im game. COMPLETELY LEGAL? PFFT yeah... um how about never.

Okay yes it is already known that marijuana is less harmful to the body than other substances. That isn't why it is illegal. It's not the harmfulness of the substance but the effect it has. As I said if they legalize marijuana, who is not to say that every morning before some people go to work they would smoke 8 joints of weed. Getting high prevents some from making logical decisions and I definitely know this because I have seen it, it can cause a form of paralysis. Weed should stay illegal because when people start getting extremely high off the substance, there will be chaos....

Then alcohol should be illegal too. Or food. After all,if you eat too much you will most likely die of a heart attack. Correct thing is,marijuana is legalized. And we just hope on people's common sense that they don't over-do it. Same happens with alcohol too,so.......

As you just pointed out, you are only looking at the effect it has to the body, I am not talking about the effect it has on the body, meaning you getting a heart attack or some infection. I am talking about the effect it has on the body. You did get me there because alcohol, if consumed too much, causes you to have similar effects on the body. Also, marijuana is only legalized medically and that is not even legal in all states......

Once, not a long time ago, alcohol was illegal too,and people would go to bars to drink orange juice. But,lots of people were able to get their hands on alcohol,so after a while there was no point on keeping it illegal,so it now is legal,as long as you're over 18-21(depends on country). I think same will apply for marijuana....
Also, the part I quoted above makes no sense at all

Legalise it! Being a newbie smoker (only done it twice and I loved it both times!) I gotta say it's great fun and it's much less harmful than tobacco or alcohol. It's not physically addictive and while it can cause lung problems it causes them much less than tobacco and it's only through smoking it, as said earlier oral ingestion takes away such side effects. It doesn't make you brainless or dumb but chills you out and makes you see the world differently, alot of famous inventors, mathematicions and scientists were weed smokers and it obviously didn't mess them up. The only reason it's illegal is because tobacco got there first and so weed was banned, before the 1700s it was legal and has been used since BC times. It's also a gold mine for the government, in times where the governments have hardly any cash if they legalised weed they could tax it, save money on police raids, and it would be much easier to buy, I am however against such an idea and in Britain it's a class B drug (only one step down from class A which means it's pretty high up), perhaps putting it down to the lowest class would stop the government from exploiting weed but would make it easier for the public to get a hold of. A friend who is also a smoker told me that when weed was a class C you could get much more weed for less money, but nowadays because it's been put up a class it costs more because it's getting harder and harder to grow it under the radar.

Definitely should be legalised!
