Logging in problems

So, I've gotten a new laptop, and cannot login to the forum. I may have forgotten my password, but my password on this desktop is saved, so I'm not sure. When I tried "forgot your password," it said that my username/email address didn't exist. This is what happened to my previous profile, and I'm hoping that there is some solution to this problem that doesn't involve resetting this account.

change your pw, use your desktop for that
then use the new pw on your laptop.
use the link to the user control panel (next to new messages)
profile, edit account settings
you do need your old pw.
BTW, you can see your mail there too

I was using an older email, which I forgot the pass to, but I finally got it sorted out. Thanks hito.
