Russia has literally no sway on American energy. that's why we were so quick to put up sanctions. However, Europe can't say the same. As Russia supplies 30% of their energy.

Yeah dude, hence why Germany(Basically the head of the EU) aren't doing anything severe, well over half of it's oil and gas come from Russia. They ain't going to put that at risk anymore than they have to.
It's really not that big a deal, Russia wants some land where 60% are Russian anyway. Not support or saying it was right what they did, but yeah.

EU= European Union, therefore Russia and USA have no say.

NATO=North Atlantic Treaty Organization, all of them have equal say in the protection of the North Atlantic in Europe(Russia isn't apart of this).

BRICS= Brazil Russia India China South Africa
As far as I'm aware of this, it's just a thing between them as countries with improving economies.(Include nothing in Europe as far as I'm aware.)

I'm too lazy to look up any information right now.. So ye, guess I'll get back to World History notes homework.. I'll be looking through everything some other time and give my opinion on the subject at hand.
