Meh. I'm indifferent. I don't think we needed to go to war, but then again, it was probably best we did.

We got the guys we wanted, we should've left. But we're still in there, occupying the country and manipulating the so called, "Afghan Democracy" we think works. It's time we leave.

Re: 17 percent of Americans Support the Afghanistan War
Too bad.
The Afghan people don't want us there anymore. They haven't for a long time.
The Afghan Establishment doesn't want us there anymore. They haven't for a long time.
The Afghan President doesn't want us there anymore, and he's our puppet.
The neighboring countries who get bombed by US Drones that hit schools, hospitals, day care centers, and weddings and only have a 2% success rate on killing a target, those nations don't want us there anymore. Since you know, we're bombing their daughters and sons.
We've been there too long. We can still tap into their oil by doing oil trade deals under a US, Afghan, or Americo-Afghani oil company and steal their oil if you want, but it's time we leave military presence. Their military is capable of dealing with their domestic issues.

If you draw back that makes you lose territory on middle eastern grounds.
The government doesn't care that Afghani people don't want them there, duh.
The drones are meant to hit civilians (stated why in other topic on this forum like 5 mins ago).
Why make an oil company when you can directly get oil, have army in the middle east AND put pressure on nearby countries?
And before I forget. If I were American and didn't really care for other countries I'd be 100% for my country staying, after all its to the country's benefit and a pain to most other countries

Honestly, there are more than fifty percent of those countries in the Middle East that if I was behind the switch then I would see them incinerated with an ICBM

And this is how I believe most people feel about the middle east.
