to clarify, i meant that im sick of the all the christians who ACTUALLY DO THAT and if you are not one of them then you are okay. i did not mean all as in EVERY CHRISTIAN DOES THIS but instead as BOY OH BOY A WHOLE LOT OF THEM SURE DO.

But not a whole lot of them do. That's a stereotype of the Christian religion represented in a loud minority.

then why the hell aren't we talking about the ones that AREN'T like that??? why don't I get to be around ones where i live that aren't like that???

Because people like to ignore the good parts of a group when trying to paint it in a negative light. Huge Christian family here--Never met a single true Christian who had anything against homosexuality. One of my cousins, in fact, is a lesbian, and she's become a minister. So, the opposite of what you're saying.

I dunno, satanism falls under a large umbrella. The more occultish versions have rules like how they must sacrifice children to tet and all that is good is bad and all that is bad is good. Certainly not all satsnists follow that particular model, but I felt like it's worth noting.

I generally feel that people are simply buttholes and will find a way to start a war, period. Religion is one method. If there were a large number of practicing Satanists (like on the level of Christians or Hindus), there would certainly still be wars fought. No one is perfect and can perfectly follow whatever restrictions they choose to follow.

Actually, Satanism follows a few basic rules, but overall, they just mean don't be bothersome to others, and avoid those who are; If there is an individual who is a problem, eliminate them.

So why on earth, would a Christian who does not think gays are bad, get all defensive??? they're not talking about you????? they're talking about the jerks in your religion??????? the ones you complaing about too!?!?!?!?!?fdsfs like chill bro. it always reminds me of this.

Also, to Danke? i think it was. Satanism is the least violent religion because the only violent thing in the Satanic Bible is to sacrifice animals. While, on the other hand, you have the Bible telling people how to murder your child if they ever speak up against you. I could go on, or if you ever make fun of the elderly and ugly, God will send bears to murder 14 children (or was it 140? idk)

Perhaps if people didn't attack the entirety of a group, they wouldn't feel the need to defend themselves constantly. The entirety of the problem is the gross generalisation and misrepresentation of what is a very large and diverse group of people.

Considering Christians make up a majority in most western nations, you don't have to worry about being attacked like that. All "attacks" on Christianity have been against people who use it to hate, and they make it clear that they're only against Christians who use their religion to hate. Its like Muslims getting mad when people complain about terrorists. Moderate Muslims join anyone who complains about terrorists.

its really sad though that there indeed are not so many legit christians ( or people that are actively enforcing rules of their religion whatever that may be) that actually live on the 21st century. religion really sets people way back.

It's a subjective comment, so is quite vague, and vagueness is generalisation. Besides, I wasn't referring specifically to that comment I was referring to the comment Shadowstar made about the entirety of Muslims and Christians getting attacked or intimidated because of a minority group that decide to subject the world to their stupid ways. I'm not generalising, or for generalising, I am saying that generalisation is wrong and that people do do it in society.

I didn't generalize?? I complained about a specific kind of Christian who sees an attack on one christian who is hateful, sees it as an attack on them self, even when they don't agree with the hateful Christian???

I complained about a group within a huge population, as do others.
