None of the arguments I look at are relevant nor convincing as the Pro gun debaters have not yet taken my test

He's also arguing for gun regulation. Buckley isn't arguing to ban Guns. But to regulate them, like we do cars.

The drivers license argument, 1954 was the first year when all 50 states required a drivers license, and for a time the amount of deaths in cars continued to rise, I assume because of the increase in amount of people driving and the lack of safety measures. The most notable point in time that may have signaled the downward trend was the law that required seatbelts in all cars. Enacted in 1968. This is what most likely caused deaths per capita to lower. Not drivers licensing.

The Second Amendment actually does protect our individual right to possess firearms as stated in a Surpreme Court ruling

As for the knife point the only thing actually can be refuted is the knife thing

Gun homicide rates are down, potentially lowest they've been in the past 50 years. The reason as to why isn't known, but some believe it's because of gun control laws being repealed.

I went ahead and watched the video, the guy makes some good points not going to lie. The guy seems to be for more regulation, which is something I don't necessarily have a problem with. It's the banning of guns that I have a problem with.

I say take all their guns away.

You can't buy unpasteurised cheese but you can buy a fully automatic rifle. Madness.

You Americans are crazy.
