coffee is a drug and if you drink enough of it, it will give you a buzz

so drink it down, strong. Better than taking other drugs!

I think there is too much hype around caffeine and indeed most drugs.

It increases your heart rate, too much can make you jittery and more susceptible to heart problems, hence why I try not to overdo it. For some reason energy drinks give me palpitations, skipped beats and all sorts.

Discover your limits, then don't go beyond it.
That's what I'd say.

I agree with Munter. It depends basically on what stimulates you the best. For me, Red Bull and coffee get me high. I thought aspirin and other NSAID (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) analgesics would do the trick but later on I figured out that they make me sleepy. As far as red bull and energy drinks are concerned, I would go well on for 3 hours with one can, so I conducted an experiment of taking 2 cans at one go, I experienced faster heart beats and a sudden burst of energy which resulted in me sweating too which is dangerous. Coffee however is a time tested remedy for my drowsiness. I could pull an all nighter easily with two cups of coffee. Next day I felt sleepy, then I decided to just pop in two teaspoons of coffee powder, surprisingly it worked too. So you see caffeine did the trick for me, however in the end, it's also a drug, so over-use may results into something unexpected and unnecessary.
