I must admit, I was a big supporter of Obama. But now I see how hopeless he is. He's not strong enough to get things done. He gets walked on by congress. Has to beg for things and still doesnt get them.
the US needs someone strong. Someone who can get things done. I can't see anything of value happening in the next four years.
your thoughts?
The BUGBLATTER BEAST HAS SPOKEN, ALL HAIL THE BLATTERER!
The President is suppose to be walked over by Congress. The only thing the President has complete control over is the military, nothing else. The President has NO POWER whatsoever, on what America spends on. Congress decides it all on their own. They blame it on the President so Congress doesn't take the blame. All his promises were blocked by the Republicans when he suggested them Congress.
So, his policies that he couldn't get by that he promises, Republicans blocked. his economic policies, like spending and all that fun stuff, is decided by Congress and by the US Constitution, the President has to spend the money. The President may only suggest what America spends, same with the President can only suggest what laws should be passed.
The only thing you can really get mad about is the President's views on military and enemies and all that fun stuff. I like Obama. But, I hated that he took out Libya, and I'm hating him even more that he's going for Syria too.
I have many opinions on this matter, but I won't go off on it since I try not to focus much on politics. It just makes me angry and I sound stupid most times because I don't fully understand what is all going on. All I know is the only reason he got into the White House in the first place is because he was Black and made promises he never intended to keep. The 2nd time. . .well, it's all the same reasons right? "Give me another chance, it takes time." Seriously? That man is running our country into the ground and taking our money with it!
Again, don't judge me too much for I don't study politics. I just see whats going on around me.

Just a couple things... If you looked at my picture up there.
1) Majority of Obamas promises were blocked by the Republicans. Their goal was to make him a 1-term president. So, when they elect in their good guy, he'll make the reforms. 2) Congress is "running our country into the ground and taking our money with it". As I said in my previous post, Congress decides everything that the Country spends. Obama may suggest a budget, but this is only a suggestion and Congress doesn't have to listen to it and they've done it so many times.
What the US really needs right now is someone that will probably destroy what you think as "Democracy". But then again that's not going to happen, since other countries will block America from gaining power over a dictatorship. Just my point of view.

We already talked about this. Democrats controlled congress for the first 2 years of his presidency. He had the ability to pass what he wanted. That's why Obamacare passed through.
So, 1.) A portion of them were blocked. 2.)Obama chose the bailouts. Obama chose to increase spending on this and that, and things like that. He promised those things thinking and intending to have the full support of his political party. You shouldn't blame the candidates, or reps all by themselves, but add in the political parties as well.

See its just that. Divide and conquer. Obama couldn't care less about your problems, the real problem is uprisings etc. So as long as 40% of America side with Obama, 40% with the republicans and the other 20% don't even know what congress means, don't expect anything to change.
That's why in times of crisis the extreme politics usually work out best. Because they ignore both normal opinions and go for the goal instead using any means necessary

Or they work out horribly, like post-world war 2 Germany, or modern day Burma, or things like that. With almost all Extremist situations, there are hidden complications.
