I know a better solution, a birth control pill for men that not only stops a guy from making a child, but also works as a double edge sword, killing the use for Viagra in older men. I had come across this once, and I have to say, "why not just do this?" instead of doing all the other, difficult and expensive stuff people may suggest for a guy.

The reason why the Indian scientists wouldn't make a pill like that, because there's a lot of risks behind it that could end up seriously hurting the male sex organs.
The vagina, on the other hand, only releases one egg cell every month, right? Not much activity, AND! the egg cells are already developed. Not many are made.
With men, every day, millions of sperm cells are produced, and messing with that constant production will lead to extremely serious problems.
So, the scientists decided to work off of the process of getting a vasectomy and wanted to do something that was direct in the testicles. which was, produce this gel to destroy the sperm cells coming up from the tubes that connect your, you know what to you know what. (trying to avoid as much use as these words, My apologies xD.)
I think it's a good idea, but I would not get one. Too much hassle.
