New Aussie ad - YOU'RE HAVING A LESBIAN

what are your thoughts on this? The ad has been cleared to be shown throughout australia. I have nothing against gays... but this ad is just too weird for me.

the ad doesnt really help their cause. I can see a lot of people getting upset with it, or worse still, making fun of the whole subject - which is the opposite of what the people intend.

I do not know what they were thinking, but I think it's set back the gay cause by several years.

One of the popular theories of homosexuality that it is determined at birth, and for males, how much testosterone the growth gland in the brain absorbs. So, in this commercial, they're showing I guess, a scientific revolution that identifies what the sexuality would be of your child, which is completely illogical because another key role is the environment they live in, specifically the personality they adapt. Though, saying their environment they live in is pretty foggy because people assume it's what house they live in rather than all social aspects of their life, etc.

Hard to explain, they're all foggy, all anyone really knows is that homosexuality happens in nature and that's it xD

I think that ad is going to do more harm than good to be honest. I showed to my friends and they all said it was almost making fun of gay people, we felt it was almost being sarcastic.
I don't care what sexuality you are, doesn't bother or affect me so whoop-teh-do.
