The point is,what 25%?
The rich? The poor? The smart? Any random 25%?

Start with the criminals, then the terminally I'll, next comes the mentally unstable & and if more are still required to die , kill the old.

And then well Be in the same situation after like 10 years. The point is this exactly: if you want to stop the overpopulation, you must kill 25% of the youth,do try wont reproduce.

why stop at 25%? Why not make it 50%. More resources for those who survive.

The terminally Ill and the old are going to die any way so why choose those? You can't just wipe everybody off the face of the earth that is mentally unstable either Tis discrimination. Who would decide whIch people died and which stayed? And if you truly wanted to reduce the population you would need to eliminate a certain amount of youth to stop them reproducing and repopulating the earth. So where would you draw the line at who goes and who stays?

We could just unleash a "genophage" or "suppression field" among the human race, reducing the overall male and female fertility among the human population.

Or just unleash one of those catastrophic diseases developed at special labs for terrorism wars, and only the strong will be able to survive.

And music,I think that weebl means that we spend too much resources trying to keep the terminally ill and elderly to life, which is partly correct. So,instead of waiting for the inevitable,we speed it up.

The old and terminally ill don't have that many resources spent in them. Yes they take up hospital beds but they are going to die soon so why waste resources speeding it up. And a lot of the time they can't so anything for them to keep them alive, that's why they are terminally ill. They aren't the ones who are going to overpopulate the world, the youth are. And if you are taking that step then what's the difference between that and killing all the people living in poverty?

that's exactly the point where I disagree with weebl. I believe there should be a limit to how many kids someone can have (1 max for like 100 years). After that,we should be back at normal levels

Thats a reasonable idea just to limit the amoun of new children entering world. Buy if you were looking for long term Solutions you would need to implement it long term world wide. And how would you regulate it?
